The Manfrotto BeFree is a compact and stylish tripod that comes with a stylish padded bag. The tripod is small enough that it will fit into a small photo / multi-use backpack such as the Lowepro CompuDay Photo 250, without adding too much weight.
Excellent build quality, 10 year warranty after registration, Compact size, Light weight, Same quick release plate as other Manfrotto tripods, Quick to deploy
Would be nice to have tightening tool included, Difficult to fit tripod back in case with QR plate attached, Could feel a little short for taller people
I bought this tripod because it would fit easily into my backpack for travel photography. I mounted my RRS ball head on it. So far it has proven adequate for a Nikon D810 and smaller lenses like: 24mm f1.8; 58mm; 105mm and 180mm.
Excellent quality good price
Th legs can get a little crazy with the locking mechanism. Always gotta double check to make sure the legs are in the right position. Also, I wish it came with a bubble level.
Robust and very good quality product.
Unfortunately the ball head is broken. I can't screw it in to tighten it. Have has the tripod for less than a year, not with heavy usage.
Actually brought the wrong one, too many products under the Befree name! its usable but as not as sturdy as the one Id seen at the show!
Bought this for a trip as needed to travel light. Handled my 5d with 24-70 f2.8 with no trouble at all. Nice height too for something that folds down so small.
Compact, Easily Adjusted, Lightweight
Really happy with this tripod...
Great stand. Bit odd with 2 position selectors per lag but it works on weird location stops. Light but sturdy.
I bought this for my cousin and he happens to be over 62. I did not think this would work for him but it actually works fine especially with a D750 where you can adjust the screen.
