Overall, the Lowepro Pro Roller x100 AW is a sturdy, well made bag that will definitely keep your equipment safe when travelling. It's quite heavy, weighing almost 4 kilos before you put any kit in, meaning you may have to be careful with airline weight restrictions.
Built in lock, Carries lots of kit, Airline carry on friendly, Sturdy, well padded dividers
Heavy, Rucksack feature is quite pointless
I had high hopes for this bag but the inside sucks. I hate the new divider system. Their old configuration was better. All I want is a simple grid divider system. This one has too many parts and the bottom is uneven height.
I bought this bag 9 months ago and it has been on 8 flights and is still going strong. Both international and domestic have not had any issues with it fitting in the overhead other than struggling because it is so heavy from all of my equipment that I can put in this bag.
This is a very useful carry-on. Rolls nicely, but is also easy to carry. When not traveling, I keep my "toys" in this bag and ready to go. I fortunately have not had to try the rain cover but think it is a good idea.
If u need a case small enough for carry on size on an airplane, yet able to hold a decent amount of gear, this is for u.
I use my Lowepro everday. It is perfect for all of my camera equipment.
I use this bag daily, for carrying all my photo equipment. I previously had a Tamrac roller bag. I like this one because it is more compact and deeper. The only thing I don't like about it is the backpack ability. Because of that, I feel like the bottom of the bag is less cushioned.
Nice case but not as big as I was expecting. I had to return it and get the 300.
