The Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW is a large camera backpack suitable for just about any camera kit. It can handle a couple of pro bodies and/or several spare lenses.
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a backpack I can tell you I didn't have any money, but what I do have now is a lowpro 450 aw, and a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long year.
I loved my old camera bag, a dozen year old Tamarac that showed zero wear. I'd simply outgrown it. I shoot a Nikon D7200 these days, carry 3 lenses, to or monopod, remote rekease, cables, filters... I carry an ACTUAL notebook and sometimes actual photography books.
This bag fits a TON of gear. I can fit all my accessaries for my GH5, Hero 7 Black, Mavic Air, etc.... I would definitely recommend this bag for you everyday or travel needs.
If you like a bag where all you feel is your gear clunking around back and forth then this bag is for you. None of the inserts fit snuggly so the Velcro is pulling off at all times. The bags depth is so large that all your items shift and thrash back and forth. Also does not hold a 15 laptop.
I waited to write this review until I had a chance to really get out and use it. First trip out was to Zion National Park in during a rain storm. The pack held up good and kept my gear dry and protected throughout the day.
I have this bag forcoupleof months, meand a friend bought the same, and about 6 months of usage both bags gets the main zipper broken (the large one on the back), exactly the same way in both bags.
I hike a lot with my camera gear and was looking for a new bag that was a little bigger than my current backpack. The Lowepro 450 is just what I was looking for. Very rugged and lots of compartments allow for getting the camera out quickly.
It took a few solid days of wearing it before it became second nature and comfortable wearing it. I took it on a work trip to cover a music festival for its first trip out and it was very versatile and reliable. Took it up the mountain and in the snow. Worked great.
