Lowepro has been in the game for a long time, which means it has a lot of experience creating bags such as the Flipside Trek series. With a 21L capacity in its rear-entry compartment, it’s capable of holding a pro DSLR and 70-200mm f/2.8, as well as up to three additional lenses.
I spend a lot of time outdoors and am prior Army special Forces so I have had some seriously time with a backpack on. I hike on both trails and backcountry and have found this pack to be perfect for day hikes and possible overnight hikes in the warmer months (Hammock, no tent).
I have 4 Lowepro packs because I really like how nicely and thoughtfully they are made. This one is probably my favorite one yet. Has enough room for all of my gear, whether I take my mirrorless Fuji kit with 5 lenses or my full frame Canon kit with 16-35 f/4, 24-105 f/4, 70-200 f/4, and 50mm f/1.4...
As my first Lowepro, this bag looks beautiful, no doubt. Illtry to list all what I like and dislike about it and let you make up your mind. Note that I havent actually used it yet, but tried it at home, and tried fitting different gear in it.Likes:The design and color.
Well built, thoughtfully designed and well priced. The Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 450 is perfect for travel or day hikes. It is large enough to hold a commercial or prosumer camera body w/lens, and an additional lens or two plus a lunch, water, fleece, iPad, etc. Good purchase for the adventurous you!
After a few weeks of owning this bag, Ive put it to the test on a couple of long hikes. The bag is very comfortable, even when loaded down. There is plenty of room for photo gear in the main compartment, holding all of the necessary gear for a full day oflandscape shooting.
Needed a travel bag accepted by most airlines.

Comfortable, Easy to Use, Lightweight
I use this bag at Festivals. It Carrie's my personal gear at the top and professional gear at the bottom. The rear access keeps my gear safe and lets me spin the bag round on the waist strap to load unload and change lenses.
