The pack is ultra friendly with the side access, making it convenient to take out your camera as you sling the pack on your left shoulder (for right-handers). The arrangements for the compartments allow for my Canon T3i with 75-300 mm lens, 18-55mm, battery charger with batteries, and lens filters.
This will be used for the occasional venture out for a day or longer. Probably too big for just a walk around. Very well built, just make sure that the camera zippers are totally zipped up before throwing it over your shoulder.
I carry a D610 with 3 prime lens with an excellent C-Fiber tripod. My total carry weight (less water) is 13 lbs. and this pack works outjust right. I did a lot of backpacking (CA. Sierras & US Army) and I know a good, comfortable pack and this one is it.
I would totally recommend this product. The tablet pocket is an added bonus. While I didn't take a look at the larger version of this bag - the BP 250 - there is plenty of storage for my camera, an extra lens, tablet, and a point and shoot. There is ample room for SD cards, wallet and snacks!
I have many photo bags that are fine for specific outings but I needed one for an upcoming extended trip to Europe. I wanted one that would handle a Nikon D750 with a mounted 24-120mm f4 lens, a 50mm f1.8 lens, various filters, batteries, cards and a small meFoto tripod.
Looking to replace a bag with a shoulder strap.A backpack with all the same space. Good quality zippers. Flaps to shed water away and a raincoat: included. I still have not tried all the straps included.Maybe on thing to add. A block or cradle to prop up side of lens attached to camera when stowed.
Used this for a quick trip to Clearwater FL. It fits your TSA bag of toiletries and a few personal effects in the top easily. I rearranged the dividers and had my D750 with mounted 24-120, and 14-24, spare battery, cleaning kit, cards and caps. It was a tight squeeze but did fit.
I bought this pack for day trips on various vacation trips, to double as a camera bag and day bag. It's worked as I'd hoped. The side access is great, super easy to get my camera while we're walking. The top portion is small, but holds a light jacket, wallet, phone, keys, etc.
I was looking for a not huge backpack I could use for my Nikon D850, 70-200 f/2.8 and 24-120 f/4I have the Lowepro Flipside 300 that easily fits all of those + quite a bit more but wanted a backpack with a regular compartment I could use for other stuff as well while travelling with my family.
Havent had it very long but so far, I like it. Took a bit of Flanigans Finagling Factor to get the camera compartment arranged for my gear, but it is now good. It is comfortable for my aging shoulders, too carry compared to my sling bag (that had the perfect configuration).
