Lensbaby Sol 45mm f/3.5 Lens for Canon RF Cameras

I’ve been a big fan of Lensbaby for years now, but with the Lensbaby Sol 45 I feel like the company didn’t give it their all. If I were able to make the aperture blades into the shape of a heart or something, then my nerdy, Scott Pilgrim-loving heart would be smitten.

I love this lens! The bokeh is amazingly smooth. It takes a bit of work to get the hang of it but once you do the photos are terrific. The hardest aspect of the lens is to make sure the image is truly in focus since its a manual focus lens and the area that is in focus is very small.

Lensbaby hit a home run with this little lens ! The sweet spot stays in the frame ( no worries ) and the aperture is fixed ( again, no worries ).So far, I've used it on my Canon 77D for urban landscapes and for tabletop Still Lifes.Great lens - I love it !

Another fun lens from Lensbaby. It works so well with extension tubes too. I'm still trying out the many options and enjoy it.

This lens produces a soft bokeh glow in your photographs. Good for macro as well as small intimate landscapes. Love this lens.

Fun lens , sharp as a tac.

1.First of all the box was a little bended, and it was inside another box so i dont know ot it was during the shipment,2. the lens was covered in what it seemed to be paper powder.3.

I just started using the Lensbaby Composer Sweet 50 about a month or so ago. I love the bokeh it produces so when the Sol 45 was released I ordered it as well. This lens has a constant f/3.5 and the ability to change the appearance of the bokeh by tilting the lens or using 1 or 2 of the little gates...

If you are in a creative slump this lens will help you through it. Great textured bokeh

The Lensbaby Sol was a birthday gift for my daughter, so the review is from her perspective. First of all, she appreciates the build quality and ease of use from using the lens straight or tilted along with the ease of using the bokeh blades.
