BEST AC EVER-TESTED FOR 5YRS NOW-STILL FREEZIN
I have had this AC for 5 years now and living in an upstairs apartment its always hotter. ABSOLUTE best purchase ever. I used to get new AC units every 3 years because they wouldn't be cold enough year after year but this one performs. Its huge and heavy but its better to get the good stuff instead of buying deals every 3-5 years and it being the same price if not more. I really can't say enough about the AC. If we are away from home I can turn my AC on from a different state..its amazing. Its not noisy at all....and its super cold...even after having it for 5 years. Plz dont discontinue. I will be repuchasing again in the future.

works very well, quiet, good reviews
bought due to dual inverter technology, efficiency and great reviews in Consumer Reports. Very quiet when running and the cooling capacity is outstanding. Installation consisted of sliding the unit into a different brand wall sleeve with just a few sleeve "adjustments". Also has wifi control via phone app. Would buy again.

This unit was purchased to replace an existing unit that after 15 years developed a leak causing condensate to drip into my walls. Now that doesn’t sound too promising but in actuality turned out to be a blessing! This unit is so much quieter and cools the area more efficiently than the one it has replaced. I have used this for one summer season so no report on longevity from me but I have used LG products for quite a while and have been pleased with their performance and reliability that is one of the main reasons I selected this one for replacement.

WIFI Abilities with Alex built in
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional A/C with all the bells and whistles! This unit will cool down 1,440 Sq Ft at 23,500 BTU’s it is one of the largest of window units on the market. The unit is very quiet and powerful at the same time. Plus it has the ability to work with Alex and can be controlled through WIFI using LG’s App that can be downloaded. The A/C unit comes with everything needed for installation but you may need some extra materials. The unit is very heavy so you will need to install support from underneath and you will also have to install a 115 volt/15 Amp receptacle to run the power. The unit has a washable filter that easily removes from the front of the unit behind the grill, just pull down on the grill from the top and remove the filter. Overall this unit works and looks great when installed. I hope to gets years of service from the LG A/C window unit!

Love my AC unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this AC unit and this review was at a perfect time. I got my first light bill since I bought this unit. It has been about 30 days since it was installed. My electric bill dropped. I had a older LG ac unit and I used it alot it broke my heart when it broke, I had it for 7 years. but since I got this new one my light bill went down 100.00 dollars. Super energy efficient. They made improvements, and I appreciate it. I could not be happier. This unit is so quiet, I am amazed you can't hear it running all threw the house. It cools my 20x20 living room and my 20x10 kitchen no problem. Its installed next to my Tv so when the older one was running the TV volume was on 21 now with the new unit we only have the volume at 10. I would def recommend it. It also came witha holder for the remote no more losing it.

Had to replace the first one immediately
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one replaces the one I bought two months ago. This one works great but the first one was leaking refrigerant from the beginning. Unfortunately we installed it semi permanently before we turned it on. It was difficult to get out because we used spray insulation to seal it which was like concrete trying to get out. Plus it was an hour each way to get to the store. So always check to make sure it works before installing. It’s being used for my shop in the garage and has to be very cool and like I said the second one works great, hope for years.

Not a good unit
