The core model in LG’s 2020 OLED TV range is an astonishingly capable all-round performer

Picture is exciting but natural, Improved motion and dark detail, More future-proofed than most

Missing UK catch-up apps
The CX is another superb OLED TV from LG boasting excellent 4K images, improved upscaling/motion and gaming abilities, all for less than the C9 was when it went on sale. It's not the huge leap over the C9, but this is an outstanding effort from LG and the added customisations are welcome.

+
Excellent picture quality, Great design, Plenty of smarts, features and customisation, Excellent upscaling
-
-
Still no UK catch-up apps, Just a small leap over the C9
We’re not surprised, because we realise LG knows exactly what it’s doing with this technology. What we are is impressed.

+
Cracking 4K picture quality, Great upscaling, Excellent webOS interface, Ready for your next games console, Half-decent audio quality

No HDR10+, No UK TV catch-up services
Oustanding picture performance - which, let’s face it, is the most important thing) -makes the latest 'entry-level' LG OLED range every bit as worthy as those that have gone before it. It's a stunning screen.

+
Corking 4K picture quality, Caters most HDR formats, Great operating system, Good upscaling, Rapid gaming response

No UK catch-up TV services (2021 predicted), No HDR10+ decoding
Got this a week ago and it’s an amazing piece of technology. The colors really pop. I got this for the upcoming PS5 launch and this tv checks all the right boxes - VRR, hdmi 2.1, ALLM, etc. This is my first oled and I’m glad I picked this after a lot of research.
I have had this tv for a couple of weeks now. The picture quality is in believably good. Get the hdmi 2.1 cable for streaming video and best sound.
I bought this TV for gaming and for next gen console. I did my research and this is the best TV right now for gaming.
Have had this TV for several weeks now. Went from 16 years with Dish to streaming. Great picture. Magic remote is great too!
The tv itself is awesome. However. You cannot download the ATT or DIRECTTV app on an LG tv. Therefore I have to stream my cable from my phone to this tv.
New LG-OLED purchased the 55inch and 48 inch picture is perfect also Denon sound bar for each TV to enhance the sound which works a treat.
This TV has fantastic picture quality and is very easy to set up and use. However, it could have been made clearer that LG has not yet put agreements in place for the popular UK catch-up applications on its 2020 TVs, so none of these are available though the TV itself - not even BBC's iplayer.
There's a lot to like about this TV, the picture quality and features. The thing that's currently missing is iPlayer and other catch up services but LG have announced they will soon be available as a software update which will deliver everything I want from the TV.
love this tv.would have given 5 stars but as yet no bbc iplayerHad i had known about this i would have waited for updates?
Had the TV a week now and have been very impressed with it. Upgraded from on old Pioneer Plasma which died. On picture alone this Tv is epic. If there is a downside to it it’s the sound, which is OK but nothing special.
