Love the filter clean reminder on the display and the air flow warning. We moved to a new house and the dryer vent was almost completely blocked. Dries big or small loads completely, runs very quietly.
This is an outstanding product, for both kid's baths (which is why I bought it) and our own (because I realized it is handy to know the exact temp) PROS - This is 100x better than the simple "too hot" / "too cold" bath thermometers that pervade the baby bath thermometers market.
This dryer, after having it for a month, shreaded 5 of my bras in one load. Also, if you put the dryer on Normal mode it WILL NOT dry your clothes. It kicks the dryer onto Energy Saver and your clothes, no matter how few you put in, will be wet at the end of the cycle.
had the lint catch catch my cloths and tear things up. I am replacing the part, but fearful that poor design will cause the issue once more.
We got this with the matching washer and my wife loves both. My wife has been washing and drying our clothes for 53 years and I would say an expert on dryers. Very easy to use, quiet and efficient.
Not that crazy about the overall performance of these. They are pretty, but had an older model front loading washer w/out all the bells and whistles, which did a much better job of wringing out the clothes. The washer gets off balance pretty easily and shuts off.
Very versatile with lots of features. Only dried one load so far, and results were excellent. Only negative is a glitch in the firmware which prevented running the initial duct test after installation, but this hasn't (so far) affected any drying function. Really like it so far.
Really appreciate the sensor which fully tabulates when dry no matter what setting you use which is great. Like the 'jingle' when it's done!
I have this Dryer and it is 11 years old. I spent $500 last year, stupid me to repair it. It not needs a new power button and they no longer make it. LG says they only make parts for 7 years and when they sell out they sell out. If you want this dryer for more than 7 years do not buy.
We bought this dryer not even 2 years ago and we run about 4 loads a week. I liked it until it stopped heating up. I had a technician come today to tell my that the heater core assembly needed to be replaced and that it would cost $384. Will not be buying LG products again.
