LG’s smallest OLED is uniquely feature-heavy and offers blistering framerates. For PC gamers looking for a 4K TV, this is the best choice.
We bought and tested the LG 48 CX OLED as a computer monitor, and even though this is meant to be a TV, it offers impressive overall pe...
The first 4K OLED smaller than 50 inches is also the very best TV smaller than 50 inches that we’ve ever tested
Flagship-level OLED performance, Dramatic but natural picture, Forward-looking feature set
Missing UK catch-up apps, Pricey for its size
I waited a long time for LG to make a 48â OLED TV that would fit in the cabinet that housed a Sony Bravia. I would have had to do some major cabinet carpentry to make a larger model fit. Worth the wait! At last I have the quality picture that I see in other homes.
Excellent upgrade from my 43" Sony 4K LED TV. Just the right size for my cabinet. Paired the TV with a Bose 700 system and wow. Enjoying movies as they were made to be.
Fantastic TV/Monitor for playing games and watching movies. Picture quality is superb.
Perfect Xbox One X gaming TV! Fantastic OLED picture and supports all the gaming bells and whistles (variable refresh rate, freesync for PC gaming, instant gaming response, HGiG HDR, etc.) and ready for the next gen consoles later this year.
Picture quality is excellent, on par with plasma. Speakers are excellent for a thin screen TV, certainly more bass than my previous TV. Sound is good enough that I will not be needing a soundbar. The setup was pretty straightforward for WiFi, Netflix, Prime and antenna.
TV is amazing! Deep contrast really pushes my media to a crazy level. Great picture, great apps. Mount is perfect!
With the current firmware (27-7-2020), if the TV is presented with multi-channel audio (DTS 5.1/DDP 5.1) via one of its HDMI inputs (e.g. Blu-Ray on HDMI 1) the HDMI Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) *always* passes back 2 Channel PCM audio to my home theatre audio system, and the *bit stream...
Best TV Iâve every had LG is doing it right.
wish I'd read these reviews before buying. Very disappointed that this model doesn't allow UK catch ups like iplayer and All4. Shocking, and that is why I can't recommend it for a friend - the only reason. I trust this will change in the very near future and we'll be able to update the software.
Everything I have read about this makes it seem like the perfect TV for me. But no UK streaming apps is an absolute deal breaker. Like I said, shame.
