10/10 would monitor again. This monitor took a punch to the face and is FINE. P.S. If you are in VR and Zed hord you don't punch them... the monitor is still in front of you
Took a punch to the face, pretty, OMG the space
needs more stand adgustment, not curved, not Gsync (really thought it was), 60htz
This is the second LG monitor I purchased in the last month, as the first one didn't have the display port plug I decided on the 34UM88. Great decision to upgrade.
When it comes to ultra-wide monitors you will either really love the expanded viewing area or you’ll just hate that it takes up too much space. If you’re a Photoshop user or just do office work the added space will give you enough room to have two windows side by side without having to have a dual...
Great picture quality, 2k resolution, very good contrast, IPS panel, Lots of ports, 99% sRGB color gamut
Stand could be better, might be too wide for some people
Don't waste time on this monitor. I, like hundreds of others, received a monitor with the mounting screws loose inside the back case and now must hassle through a return for no reason other than unbelievably poor quality control.
I purchased the monitor a couple months back and the monitor is great but slow on the start-up.
Good and looks good and good quality and nice monitor
I've owned this panel for a year (almost to the day) - there are newer ones out there with nicer features (a thunderbolt 3 port, for instance), however this has served me well, and I've had no issues with it at all.
I like the monitor but the software is not loadable at startup .thus you get an annoying UAC(user account control) message every time you start it and if you are not logged in as your administrator, you have to supply credentials in addition to the annoying UAC pop-up.
Using this as an advertising board in portrait mode, it is behind glass and has been running for nearly a year completely faultless - we would absolutely buy another one
I'll keep this review short and simple for you. This monitor is glorious. You'll love it. Why? The 34" 21:9 display is AWESOME for productivity. You can have 3 Chrome windows open at once for easy comparisons or research. You can see more of your timeline in Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
