I got this to go with a new stand up desk as a replacement for my old 5 x 1080p setup. I used this for work and my laptop (Lenovo W520) can only do native resolution at 30hz, for me that is not a big deal since I do web development and a bunch of remote terminals for my daily tasks.
This monitor improves the way that you work, being able to split the screen in half it's something that you want to have. Gaming experience? Makes you feel more inside the game. Recommend.
Huge Screen., Height adjustable, Nice Colors., Good Pixels density, Nice angles., Easy but complete menu
0 cons so far.
Besides the two cons mentioned, I'm happy with the purchase and use two of these in dual monitor desktop. I really love my setup and have no regrets.
Picture quality is fantastic. Input selection fairly easy Speakers are a nice feature
PIP mode really is not PIP, but simply snapping an application to a predefined window space on a monitor. A true PIP would allow one input source to overlay another input source. I was disappointed that this feature is not present Switching between inputs should be a single button push, since there...
Great monitor for the price. I had some issues initially. The stand was defective and didn't hold the monitor straight. So, I contacted LG support and they sent me a new one. Now, it works as expected. Be sure to have a Display Port cable if you want to activate AMD FreeSync.
Im a Photographer and this monitor is perfect for photo editing. Its seriously perfect. The color accuracy is amazing. Highly recommend this amazing product.
overall great monitor
This monitor is awesome! The image is clear, the base is stable, the built is speaker is decent. Using this now for over a month as a work/home monitor I have no regrets. I do understand why some people would want a curved model however I just don't see the value at the current price point.
After a bit of calibration all I have to say is...... YO THIS IS LIT FAMS!!! The speaker are pretty decent as well.
Still have both my old monitor and this one active. There is NO comparison in the picture quality. This is without a doubt the best monitor I have seen - especially in this price range. Can't beat this one for the buck. Enjoy!
Picked this up for $299. Great deal for Christmas and is just as good as the previous model. If you're looking for a first time ultra wide screen monitor this is not a bad choice.
