Good sound.

A bit pricey.
Portable Bluetooth speakers are pretty commonplace these days. They range in price from $20 all the way to hundreds of dollars. It can be tough to choose which one to buy, and it’s hard to tell just what sets a speaker and company apart.

Design, sound, battery life.

Bit pricey but you really do get what you pay for.
Portable by name but not by nature, JBL's Xtreme Portable Bluetooth Speaker should be at the top of your list if you're looking for pure power and performance in sound.

The size, Quiet muddled bass
It’s time for another JBL wireless speaker showdown with this episode honing in on the JBL Charge 3 vs JBL Xtreme. Which speaker is better for you?
I always thought having lots of bass was a great thing, but the JBL Xtreme proves there is such a thing as having a touch too much. This isn’t a massive issue, but it does somewhat tarnish the appeal of the Xtreme, especially at its hefty £250 price tag.
Are you ready for some aural stimulation? We know we are. We've waited a long time for this to arrive, and today it finally has. This is the new Xtreme by JBL. It's JBL's most powerful model to date, and it's packed full of awesome features and of course exorbitant amount of audio goodness.
Bluetooth speakers are literally everywhere nowadays. Regardless of your budget, music tastes or level of audiophile, there is a bunch of Bluetooth speakers available for your consideration.
It was awesome for a while, but 5 months in the battery charge is not holding 15 hours any more. It's cutting off in 9-10 hours now. I haven't changed anything. Same content (music an podcast). I know they claim it can very by what's played but I haven't changed anything.
JBL has been around long enough to understand the logistics of sound quality. While it's difficult to cater to everyone's style of music - the Xtreme - hits you with a punch. This speaker is loud enough to fill a room and outside it does a fine job. With today's music, it hits the corners very well.
I had two Sony Bluetooth speakers which had mediocre sound quality, but the biggest issue was that eventually (after a few months), they both started to fail to hold a Blue Tooth connection. I bought the JBL as a replacement, and it is much, much better..

None So Far
Great speaker a lot louder than I expected the bass is clear and the fact that it contains a carrying strap makes it convenient for comfortable transport. Very happy with my purchase and I am sure anyone who makes this purchase would be completely satisfied.
Best value for money. Great sound. Easy to use. Portable. Good quality
I now have two of these speakers, and i am so satisfied. Now the price isn’t too bad compared to other speakers, but this is the cheapest and effective way to build your own hi fi system, the sound is truly amazing, people say it’s too big but I don’t think you get sound like this out of a smaller...
