At the heart of this bass is an Ash body, chosen for its bright, articulate tone and long sustain. The SR650 sports a 5-pc Jatoba/Bubinga SR4 neck and a Rosewood fretboard, embedded with elegant Abalone oval inlays. An Accu-cast B300 bridge provides excellent string vibration transfer and precise intonation.For electronics, the SR650 features Nordstrand CND pickups in a classic P/J combination, a versatile setup almost indispensable for the working musician. Specifically designed for Ibanez, these passive pickups deliver a very present tone that easily punches through any mix. Equalization controls include a 3-band Active EQ with a bypass switch for precise tone management.
