Bought primarily for birdwatching. I’ve had a pair of relatively inexpensive 12x50s for a while now but decided to treat myself to a new pair and wanted something a little less bulky. After a lot of research and confusing reviews online I opted for these Hawke 8x42 and I absolutely love them.

I'm was reluctant to buy bins without trying them first, but having received the items (inside 2 working days), I have to say I'm very impressed. Light, comfortable to use and, best of all, providing a clear, bright image.

I bought these binoculars on a whim hoping that they would be ok when compared to my more exspensive opticron bins. I was well supprised as these are great. They give a crystal clear view and give the exact same vision when compared to a lot of binoculars with a price tag of £300.
