Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Old one was better
I prefer the older version. It hooked up to alexa so easily. This one made me set up the thermostat first with Google home and now it won't connect to my alexa at all. I'm also having difficulty programming it with my nest app where I control and schedule the other one. I'm pretty frustrated with it because the whole reason I wanted it was to control it with Alexa. Also, I don't have the special wire it wants me to have so it basically says it will suck the battery life dry and I can't get rid of the corresponding error message even though operating it without that fancy wire is totally an option. Get a different one. This one is obnoxious.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest thermostat is my new favorite thing. It looks so cool with the mirror look. So much better than our original thermostat. It was fairly easy to install. I like that I don’t have to touch the front of the thermostat and it can stay clean with no fingerprints. You only have to tap the side to adjust. Having the app on my phone is also the next best thing. Now I can adjust the temperature from wherever I am at. I can set up a schedule for when I want my home to be certain temperatures. It also has a setting to recognize when someone is home and adjusts accordingly. It’s perfect!

New Nest Thermostat installation and review
I got an email offe4 from Google and decided to give the new model a try. The old unit from another company wouldn't sync up to WiFi and I wanted to complete my Google Home control of our new house. I'd done the research to confirm compatibility before ordering, which was easy and highly recommended, so I knew what to expect. The installation was easy and I'm glad I got the matching trim plate (also recommended), scan the barcode on the device and proceed with setup. Yes its just about that easy if you research, prepare and label accurately. I'd recommend this unit to anyone seeking easy remote control access and potential energy cost savings.

Simple in Design, Intuitive in Execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Leave it to Google to design a sleek thermostat that easily installs to any existing unit, even the one that we have from twenty years ago! While matching the wires required technical understanding, I was able to install the unit within an hour of its arrival. I like the various options to customize what our daily routines are and if those change, we can control the unit from an app on our smartphones. For me, as a senior citizen, I find that this google unit gives me peace of mind that I am able to save money in energy costs while upgrading my home with 21st century intuitive elements.

Nest Thermostat
In this age of self-supported consumer products, I was appalled at the lack of installation instructions provided with this thermostat. What is provided, was found to be confusing with critical details omitted. For instance, the QR code required for the network setup is not referenced until the unit is installed on the wall - not to mention its location on the back of the unit is never disclosed. Lack of a model number also contributed to my frustration - the Google Nest web reference appear to be independent from the Nest website. It took way longer to complete the install than it should have - but it is working to my satisfaction.

Great upgrade for me, but...
I'm happy I finally have a "smart" thermostat that I can control remotely from my phone. HOWEVER, I have one HUMONGOUS problem with the Nest. The SOFTWARE. Google feels that it knows my house better than I do, and INSISTS on only providing the option to set a "hold" temperature for up to 24 hours at a time. When it ends it CONSTANTLY wants to play "nanny" and turn my temp down in the winter to insanely low temps. WHY can't I just have an option to set the temperature at 71 and LEAVE IT THERE??? For as long as I want? Google, if you want 5 stars from me, issue an update that allows me to hold a single temp for an infinite amount of time.

Best in class! Sleek New Look!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this new design, it looks cool on the wall. I'd actually call the color "champagne" and not "sunrise".
The installation is not hard, as long as you are not afraid to disconnect and connect some wires. Follow the instructions and you will be okay!
The touch bar is easy to use and the options are easy to understand. I had used a previous generation of the Nest thermostat and didn't find it as intuitive. So, this is an improvement.
I will mostly interact with the thermostat using the app and not on the thermostat itself.
This appears to be another awesome product from Google.

Good Thermostat
Installed easily. Must have a common wire source at the furnace/boiler/heat pump/control box. If your wall is not wired with a common wire there is a Google adapter available. The product uses the Google Home app rather than the Nest app. I find the Google Home settings easier to program than those on the Nest app but some people get wild about lack of compatibility with the Nest app so just be aware. My wife likes the mirror finish on the face. The manual setting adjustments are done via touch on the side of the device rather than the screen. This is a little finicky but works and does prevent fingerprints on the mirror finish screen.
