Not a huge leap in tech from the Hero 11
The GoPro Hero12 Black, on the surface, mirrors its predecessor in design and basic specs like resolution and frame rates. Yet, delve deeper, and you’ll discover subtle but significant enhancements.
GoPro brought back the best in Hero 11 Black and refined it with the new Hero 12 Black. Its improved features make it worth purchasing, especially the Easy Mode, which makes the camera novice-friendly. The advanced technologies and settings make it more appealing for experienced users.
To cut to the chase, the GoPro Hero12 Black isn’t a revolutionary new model in the GoPro series, but some of the new features it brings to the table are super handy, particularly for those who tend to use GoPros in a professional capacity.
Overall, the GoPro HERO12 Black is a step up from the HERO11 Black. The GoPro HERO12 Black shines in daylight conditions, offering vibrant, high-quality videos with features like HDR and 10-bit video shooting.
Travel photos and videos have come a long way from the days of clunky camcorders and finicky film cameras. GoPro’s flagship action camera can capture 4K and even 5.3K video to preserve every last detail of a journey.
The GoPro Hero 12 Black follows the long line of iterative updates to create the best action camera you can buy today. The new HRD video, the ability to shoot vertical videos, and the significantly improved battery life make the new action cam a must-have for people who like extreme sports and want...

Drops long-running GPS feature, Only a few headphones support wireless audio feature, One battery won't last all day
An array of small upgrades make the GoPro Hero 12 Black the best GoPro to date, but only by a small margin. It's very similar to its predecessor, so existing Hero 11 owners might want to skip this generation, but if you're a new buyer or coming from an older model, it's undoubtedly the one to go...

Noisy low light video, Battery life isn’t great, No magnetic mounting
Works great. My last go pro was the 3 so it’s not surprising this is so much better. Reviews have always said GoPros are buggy but this has performed flawlessly. So good I bought another. Cheaper than DJI action 4 but with better image quality and stabilization.
Okay, so if you're considering this action camera vs the competition, get this! I had some doubts myself, but after using it this last weekend on a shoot as a B cam, I was blown away by the quality of the 5.4K sensor, and F2.8 does what it says on the tin even in low light/night situations.
I highly recommend the GoPro Hero 12 for any adrenaline junkie looking to capture their memorably.moments.Although I still have a lot to learn, the camera itself is fairly easy to use.My only gripe would the Go Pro Quick app which isn't great.
Amazing features does everything you would expect a GoPro to do! Video quality is top notch.
Jumping a few generations of GoPro has made the leap in improvement very apparent. The Hero 12 has excellent stabilisation even on the shakiest of bike rides and the battery life lasts much longer than what I'm used to
Love this action camera. Good battery life. Pairs well with the IOS app. Easy to upload videos to youtube. Airpods pair well for voice
Got to Record My Experience in the Clear Blue Seychelles Waters... The Clarity even in motion is Amazing. Love it
This is my second model, an upgrade to the Hero 10. Quality of stabilization is much improved, can’t wait for summer to capture some awesome moments.
Bought this just before heading off to Mauritius it’s been absolutely amazing from climbing mountains to snorkelling in the Indian Ocean. Easy to use, highly recommend. Good value for money too.
Bought this as the main camera to replace my GoPro Hero 10 which will be used as a 2nd camera. The 12 has loads of new configuration and recording options. The 4k capture is awesome, especially for an action camera.
