The Vivosmart 4 is Garmin’s most stylish fitness tracker, but it has more than just good looks. The tracker is packed with advanced features you wouldn’t expect to see in an entry-level device.

Slim, fashionable design, Affordable price, Body battery, Pulse ox
-
-
Small display for notifications, No GPS or connected GPS
The Garmin Vivosmart 4 is an attractive fitness tracker with accurate, in-depth metrics and up to a week of battery life.
-
+
Accurate. Long battery life. Automatic activity tracking. Measures blood oxygen levels, sleep, stress, and body recovery. Slim, sleek design.
-
-
Touch screen could be more responsive. Uses proprietary charger.
The Garmin vivosmart 4 is a wonderful little fitness tracker. It excels in pretty much all areas except two. Its lack of GPS or phone tethering option is notable, though I don’t think we should have necessarily expected Garmin to include them here.

Thin, lightweight design OLED display is much better than the vivosmart 3's Accurate fitness tracker overall Advanced sleep metrics are very useful Body Battery is useful for determining how tired/energetic you are Pulse ox sensor is nice to have on a lower-end tracker 5ATM water resistance Garmin...

No phone-to-GPS tethering option Narrow display can be difficult to use Pulse ox sensor is sometimes off, doesn't take readings all night
The Vivosmart 4 stands out as the most well-rounded fitness tracker at the attractive price of $129. It's one of the most comfortable bands to wear, tracks the most popular activities, includes advanced features like rep counting and automatic workout detection, has a week-long battery life, and...

Attractive, lightweight design., Informative Body Battery metric., Great battery life, even with SpO2 sensor on during sleep., On-device music controls., Works with Android and iOS devices., Syncs with Apple Health.
-
-
Not as many on-device workouts to track., No connected GPS., No NFC for Garmin Pay., Few communication tools (only Android users will get quick replies for messages)., No female health tracking features., Cannot switch out bands.
The Garmin Vivosmart 4 livens things up with pulse ox detection and the new Body Battery feature, giving you a more comprehensive insight into your level of fitness. The former of those will have less appeal, but all of this makes for a fitness tracker that's evolved well beyond step counts.

Body Battery works well, Pulse ox could be handy for some, Beautiful design
-
-
No GPS, Smart notifications messy, Interface is twitchy
Tracking sleep, stress and energy levels is endlessly interesting with the sleek, stylish Vivosmart 4, but an unresponsive display and inaccurate run tracking proved frustrating.

Slim, stylish design, Body Battery feature, Advanced health tools

Inaccurate run tracking, Small, unresponsive screen
: The Vivosmart 4 is the perfect exercise companion for anyone looking to improve their fitness

Could be more attractive, No GPS or cycling mode
Garmin proves it doesn’t just cater for serious athletes with the Vivosmart 4, an everyday wear tracker that can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels and energy throughout the day at a relatively affordable price.

Slim design, Long-lasting battery, Body Battery metric

Small screen, Screen unresponsive at times, No GPS
Overall I really like the Garmin vivosmart 4. I like the aesthetics, as well as, the numerous functions. So many functions i may not use them all. The iPhone app works well with the vivosmart giving me no shortage of useful info throughout the day.

Lots of info, comfortable band, looks nice, works well with app.

Function button on display hard to engage at times
I'm a Garmin fan. I chose this product bcs it's smaller & sleek than most activity watches. What I didn't agree with Garmin on this product is you can't switch out the bands. Also, if your a swimmer this product isn't for you. This watch can go with you on your swim, but it won't track it for you.
Upgraded from the 3 and so happy that I did. Functionality wise it is definitely an upgrade and the shape/fit/material is so much more comfortable. I love Garmin wearables and the new vivo 4 is wonderful!
Coming from a Fitbit Alta HR, the Garmin vivosmart 4 feels better and lighter on my wrist. I like the Garmin Connect app better than the Fitbit app. Its not perfect but Im enjoying it more than the Fitbit. Battery life has been good.
We have had ours a week ... and really like them , I do not like wearing watches or jewelry so the small lightweight aspect of it is a appealing ! The wife has only one downs side so far, with a small wrist the the length of the screen sort of planks on her wrist rather than contouring on the top...
Vivosmart 4 is a good value for an activity tracker not terribly accurate for running (no GPS) but accurate enough for steps , stair climbing etc. Body Battery is not something that I can explain - and the stress monitor is equally obscure.
Overall I love it. There are a few consistent glitches and the user interface could be improved. But all things considered I would purchase it again. And it's pretty
I originally purchased a Fitbit Ionic. I had it for two days before I realized it's limitations. The visosmart 4 has two key functions I was looking for: all day stress monitoring and Pulse Ox. I didn't think I would like the size, but it's so comfortable I don't even realize I'm wearing it.
Most helpful seems like the Garmin encourages breathing, Badges and crashing through goals as I move up more stairs, start running, break step goals, heart rate, stress score, reminders to move.
Awesome product, does everything I need.
