GE 28 Inch Freestanding Upright Freezer

I bought this to keep a 6 month supply of meat and avoid the anticipated explosion of higher and higher prices. This was a good investment, it does all I could ask of it with one exception.. I should have gone larger. With a side of beef and about 40 lbs. of chicken, it is overstuffed.

Would give it five stars but you really have to be careful that you close the door. I’m used to my kitchen aid refrigerator doors where I just give it a quick push and it seals tight. This freezer does not have much weight in the door and therefore you MUST push it completely closed or else!

I bought this about a month ago and it works flawlessly. I really like that the internal temperature is display on the door. Makes it really easy to know that the freezer is doing it's job.

This is a good freezer. We bought it because we were tired of defrosting our old freezer. Works good. has a wide range of temp settings. The temp setting on the front door blinks constantly. I can't find out if this is normal or not. Everything works OK; So, I guess the blinking is normal.

We bought this freezer to replace another freezer in our basement. We have had for about 6 months. Meets or exceeds all of our expectations. Energy efficient, quiet, large capacity for the footprint, great controls. Appreciate the alarm.

This is a very nice freezer, and is quiet and energy efficient. Interestingly, it does not hold everything that was in the old freezer of the same size...haha. I like the adjustable shelf heights and the door pockets as well as the drawers.

I've only had this freezer for about a month but am really pleased with it thus far. It's spacious enough to accommodate my needs and I really like being able to see the power indicator and temperature setting at a glance without needing to open the door.

We love our new freezer! It has consistently held at zero degrees and we can readily find out items. Immediately put a quarter of a cow in it with room to spare. I gave it a four star for ease of use only because it has a very tight suction making it difficult to open - especially if you have just...

Bought this freezer for our basement for extra freezer space. Feels good quality. LED lights are good too- lock adds a nice feature to stop our kids going in etc. Much more space than I expected for a 14cuft. More than enough storage for us. Lastly- pretty quiet operation too.

I really like this freezer. We had to exchange a previous purchase for this one to get it into our basement and I am glad we did. The controls are on the outside, it has storage baskets inside and the perfect fit for the space in which it sits.
