The Fujifilm XP130 is mid-priced rugged waterproof compact that combines ease of use with some advanced features all wrapped up in a stylishly designed body. An update to the year-old XP120, it adds Bluetooth to the existing Wifi connection allowing automatic wireless downloading of images to a...
Finding the right camera is about knowing what you need and expect. The perfect camera for portrait photography isn’t going to be the same camera you use at a basketball game. Between even excellent name-brand cameras, you’ll find a variety of different feature-sets, mechanical capabilities, and a...
If you’re looking for a budget, rugged compact then the Fujfilm XP130 is still worth considering. But it’s since been overtaken by pricier but more capable rivals like the Olympus Tough TG-5 .
Simple to use, More affordable than other rugged cameras, Pocket-sized but rugged
Average image quality, No 4K video recording, Light on features compared to rivals
Ideal for skiers and snorkelers looking for something tough and waterproof, this point-and-shoot camera is hamstrung by average photos and a short battery life.
Low price, Lightweight at 207g, Handy electronic level, Waterproof to 10m, Drop-prof from 1.8m
Short battery life, No RAW photos or 4K video, Confusing wireless file transfer, Poor in low light & with fast action, Few manual controls
The Fujifilm FinePix XP130 is a minor upgrade of last year's XP120 camera, adding four mild improvements to keep things fresh for 2018. Fujifilm have apparently sold 5 million XP cameras since the first model was released, so they've clearly decided to stick with the tried and tested formula of...
I bought this camera so we could take pictures of our canoe trip . The camera was submerged on more than one occasion. It took great pictures. The zoom really came in handy. Downloading the pictures was a piece of cake.
Bought this for vacation and was disappointed in the quality of the pictures when I got home, especially the under water shots. Also a simple thing that made a big negative impact.
I wasn't expecting great pictures (they are mediocre). It would have been nice if the controls were easy to use (they are not) and if the bluetooth app for transferring pictures was usable (it wasn't). But all I really wanted was that the camera be waterproof. It was not.
We bought this to take on holiday. Normal ‘on land’ pictures are okay but nothing to write home about. It is though brilliant to take in the pool and sea. Kids are having fun using it and we have captured photos that just wouldn’t be possible with our normal camera.
Nice camera is perfect
Does everything and more required from a compact camera. Great quality build and great photos
This camera takes good quality photos has good filters easy to use plus waterproof so great for use at seaside or water sports
I'm happy with the camera
Takes great photos and easy to use. Follow instructions and all will come out great.
Havnt tried underwater yet as I'm taking it to Egypt next month. A little dissapointed that it doesnt come with any sort of protective case??
