Great unit but the face plate covering the controls already broke off. Wish there was a replacement to get. Other than that it’s cools my entire downstairs very well! Even in 90 degree heat.

Professionally installed. TO LOUD to sleep. Remote slow responding =annoying. Energy saver goes on every minute = not saving energy. Foed cool well. Hoping to return and get cheaper high rated Frigidaire that I was talked out of !

A very overpriced, overrated brand. I've had 6-8 window units as we like to sleep cold and the quality of Friedrich was mediocre in comparison, but very high end financially. I hoped for so much more. I cant think of one aspect that stood out

Bought this because reviews said how quite it is....not so. I thought it was just as loud as the old one we replaced and we paid more for this unit thinking that it would be worth it because it would be quiet.

In my humble opinion this is the best 15K BTU AC you can find - their higher end Kuhl series does have wifi access (to turn on/off + change temp) and looks nicer but this cools just as well if not better for half the price!

Really, really keeps my whole downstairs cool. I have an old house in the city. To put in central air would be about $25K. This is a good alternative.

Really disappointed with this unit. For the first few months everything was great. Unfortunatly I’m guessing the unit uses cheap bearings for its motors. The noise has gotten out of hand. The system drives us nuts. It still keeps the house cool but we can’t watch tv with it on in the next room.

it died after 3 years

Very efficient electric bill went down $50

Had the unit professionally installed twice and both times it sounds like there is something stuck in the fan, but there's not. Nobody can figure it out. I believe I got screwed
