The Charge 3 is affordable, lasts a solid week on a charge and can be worn while swimming. It has a larger touchscreen and added features include app notifications, weather, stopwatch and timers. Works with iOS and Android.

Limited watch faces, and you can't get new ones or apps like the Fitbit Versa can. Single haptic pressure-sensitive side button isn't customizable to start workouts. No music storage or remote playback. No GPS (but syncs with a phone's GPS to record runs).
The Fitbit Charge 3's battery lasts so long, you'll lose the charging cable

Lightweight case, stylish design, Offers smartphone notifications, Excellent battery life, Touchscreen display, Interchangeable watch straps
-
-
Not fully compatible with iOS, No built-in GPS, Touchscreen slightly unresponsive
The Fitbit Charge 3 isn't a drastic change over its predecessor, but it has enough small tweaks to make it one of the best everyday fitness trackers you can buy.

Swipe interface can be finicky. Proprietary charger.
Fitbit knocked it out of the park with the Charge 3. At under $150, you're getting an attractive, accurate, and feature-packed fitness tracker. The display is awesome too, and it's water resistant. What more could you ask for? Well, a few things actually.

Classy, versatile design Accurate fitness and health tracker Great sleep tracker Accurate heart rate tracking 5ATM water resistance Fitbit OS redesign is a big improvement Great price point Good battery life Quick replies for Android phone notifications are great

Fitbit makes you pay extra to use Fitbit Pay Inductive button can be finicky
The Charge 3 gave me exactly what I expected from it: a slightly better experience than the Charge 2 gave me. Third-party smartphone alerts and activity goals add another thin layer of practicality that the tracker didn't have before, and its fine-tuned design makes it even more comfortable to wear...

Updated, lighter design., Larger, more responsive touchscreen., Works with Android, iOS, and Windows devices., Now supports third-party app smartphone alerts., Solid daily activity and sleep tracking., Solid exercise tracking with an accurate heart rate monitor.

SpO2 monitor currently isn't active., Currently not many watch faces available., Few communication tools (only Android users will get quick replies for messages)., NFC for Fitbit Pay is only available on special edition devices., No music controls., Strange bugs affecting syncing and SmartTrack.
The wait has been well worth it. The new generation of Fitbit's star fitness tracker appeals to and confirms the brand's strengths in the wearables market. The Charge 3 is definitely one of the best on the market.

Still no standalone GPS tracking, Fitbit pay not included in the base model -- and it's limited in Canada, Fitbit doesn't play nice with other apps
A swim-proof design, improved touchscreen and potential for deeper sleep insights make the Fitbit Charge 3 the best all-around fitness tracker for the money.

No automatic run-pausing at launch, No on-board GPS, Not the most accurate heart rate
The Charge 3 shows that Fitbit is top of its game – but rivals like Apple are starting to play a different one. What's more, there are bugs in the machine, which Fitbit needs to clean out.

Decent range of tracked workouts, Long battery life, Sleep tracking is great

No GPS, HR sensor laggy, Fitbit Pay only in Special Edition
The Fitbit Charge 3 is a considerable improvement over its predecessor and offers people wanting to maintain and improve their a health a great way of tracking their physical activities.
I bought the Fitbit Charge 3 a few weeks ago to replace the Alta HR. The Charge 3 is loaded with cool features and it gives accurate data. I rated this down to four stars because the extra band only came in size small. No option to get it in large.Otherwise, I love the watch and the color.
I had this Fitbit for over a Month now since Summer has Began and I just want ton say that this Fitbit has been the best one that I’ve had yet since my Fitbit Alta. I can’t believe the fact that it is 100% waterproof and I’ve swam with it for six continuous hours and I have also done other exercises...
I've been wearing a Fitbit for many years, the latest being the Charge 2. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable it is. To get an accurate heart rate, it has to be fairly snug and I was always are the Charge 2 was there. The Charge 3 is super comfy.
I used Charge 2 for more than a year and switched to Charge 3 about two weeks before. Charge 3 is clearly way more better than Charge 2. Its interface is enhanced with more features.Positive improvements:1. Side button is sexy.2. Screen is bit more responsive.3.
Works well, small writing - a bit hard to see texts, simple platform - could be a little more pleasing to the eye in this age of technology. Seems a bit less quality than the Charge 2 for some reason. Doesn’t hold the sync for the weather very long. Tells me to resync to see weather info.
I have had this for a week. It was very easy to set up and sync with my phone. It counts my steps accurately unlike the Flex of yesteryear. This makes it more fun to use, knowing the data is accurate.I look at my steps at the end of the day and if Im lacking, Ill go up and down the stairs a few more...
Excellent device, love tracking my steps and seeing how active I am in a daily basis. I also enjoy the sleep tracking and analyzing features of this device. The battery life of this device is about 3-4 days.
Excellent watch. Love the waterproof while swimming
This is my third fitbit in one year. The latest is the Charge 3. The screen froze up.
I had a Fitbit Ionic for the past year but wanted something a little smaller. I've been wearing the Charge 3 for a couple weeks now and I'm very happy. It's light on the wrist that I don't even feel it most of the time and very easy to use to see your daily progress.
