DJI’s latest drone, the DJI Mini 3, lands just over six months after the excellent DJI Mini 3 Pro. Again this small drone packs in a list of intelligent flight features in the form of QuickShots as well as image and video quality that would have seemed impossible for a drone of this size and weight...
Amazing image quality, Extended flight times, Fully featured app
Still expensive for the size, No 4K@60fps
DJI’s latest ultralight drone trims the feature set (and the price) - we take a test flight with the DJI Mini 3...
The DJI Mini 3 is a lightweight drone with nearly 40 minutes of battery life and a clever 4K30 video camera that shoots landscape and vertical video, making it an appealing option for dedicated creators and newbies alike.
Good-looking 4K30 video, Support for vertical video and upward gimbal tilt, 12MP stills in Raw DNG or JPG, 38-minute flights with standard battery, 51-minute extended battery available, 249g build for registration-free flight, Built-in GPS and FlySafe safety features
Omits obstacle detection, Limited to one color profile, Doesn't support Hyperlapse or ActiveTrack
The DJI Mini 3 Pro offers a fantastic combination of features in a very compact and lightweight, easy-to-fly unit that produces superb video and stills. Its an excellent choice for photographers looking for their first drone, but it’s destined to used by experienced drone pilots who want something...
Hassle-free, easy flying, Excellent 4K video, 12 or 48MP stills
Feels delicate, No upward sensors limits obstacle detection, Propellers are screw-fixed rather than bayonet fit
It's a great little drone. Incredibly light yet stable in the air and very responsive and easy to control. The controller is big plus also as it's much easier and quicker than using my phone each time to attach to my previous Mavic2 Pro.
separate controller, good battery life, quiet
seems very breakable since its so light and flimsy.
Mini 3 Pro is the best DJI I've owned yet. Amazing photography (set to Cinelike and 16:9). Screen hard to see perfectly in direct sunlight, but 100x better than phone screen. The more kit plus batteries are just the right amount for 2hrs of near continuous flight.
Allows for 2hrs of flight
No filters included
My first drone. No problems at all so far. Easy to fly. Really like having a screen built in on the controller. Drone starts up fairly quick and doesn't take much time to get to flying. I can't imaging the hassle of having to connect your phone, etc, on the older style controllers.
Ridiculous power usage when done is idle.
Flies as good as a mavic pro, quieter, and the screen is fantastic. Very compact and easy to toss in my backpack.
Flight time, speed, noise level
The camera is really good, not exceptional.
DJI should have included a charger. Otherwise its pretty good. I can get the drone, charging hub, charger, 3 batteries, controller, lanyard, and some small accessories in the bag. Wish the strap was a bit better/padded, etc. Longer life batteries are great.
With the base drone, just as your getting into you stride, and even though battery technology is improving, you will find a single battery isn't enough. With this add on, not only will you get spare props for those inevitable crashes, a grest battery charger, which with the replacement battery right...
The props should be checked and changed with any damage and if you buy an extra battery. That's already almost the price for this... Trust me buy it and make sure to not plug in your batteries in the holder if you're storing them long term...they need to be unconnected as they are LIPO batteries
Bag does not fit mini 3 pro RC Controller, too tight and puts pressure on the RC Controller screen. Bag bulges out and very hard to zip after forcing controller in.
As a drone user for a couple of years, this DJI mini 3 Pro is the best non professional drone I've bought.Much quieter, slightly bigger, though still maintaining the legal weight.Everything about this drone is an improvement on the mini 2Battery life is longer too with a satisfying 34 minutes per...
