The new firmware requires you to connect the headset to your phone or it will not let you take-off. It is an awkward and cumbersome nuisance to d that... and the phone must be on as well.
My buying experience was great with Uber delivering shortly after the purchase at a price I was very happy with. I have the Drone ready to fly but have been travelling since purchase. However I have owned the DJI Mavic Pro previously and am confident in the brand and this particular Avatar model.
Avata Drone works flawlessly. but don’t update to remoteID
Great little drone. Got some great footage already (and it’s survived a couple of crashes).
Great fun and very simple to fly. the biggest issue is finding somewhere to fly legally. I would recommend buying the fly more kit as one main battery is not enough when they take so long to charge.
