Crown Audio XLS 1502 Stereo Power Amplifier (525W at 4 Ohm)

After reading tons of reviews I decided to purchase the amp. I was very skeptical that it would sound better than my RX-A3080 powering my Ft Lt&Rt Klipsch RP 8000F. Boy was I wrong! It sounds great! I'm getting Zero noise coming from this amp, totally silent.

Currently using my crown 1502 to drive a 15" sub. Notice the signal was not strong enough from my marantz receiver even after turning the sub gain way up on on receiver and the sensitivity down on the crown. Ultimately had to purchase a cleanbox 2 to boost the signal.

Love this amp! Powers my custom built 18" subwoofer very well. The amount of different input and output options is very impressive. Has all the features in an incredibly lightweight form factor. Great buy!!

Super nice amp for home audio. High and low level inputs for voltage matching to get the best power out of your amp also to include remote turn on ports so you can use you AVR 12v to turn the power on and off. It really deserves five stars but nothing is perfect even though this comes close.

This is a great amp that provides clear and neutral sound with good imaging and dynamic range. While the XLS amps are mostly intended for PA applications, they workwell in the hifi audio environment. These represent great Class D amplifiers at a very good price.

This amp puts out some punch! I've had adcom (ran very hot), my 20 year old Nakimichi started sounding weak in the right channel :(... I then bought a Yamaha as-801... sounds awesome, but i was missing the punch my Nakimichi gave...

My patience paid off waiting for the Crown XLS-1502 to finally arrive back in stock, a fresh MFG date of 12/08/21. This amp would not work with my Outlaw receiver so i bought The Matchbox HD line converter to up the signal & now the Crown amp pumps out nice clean power in bridge mode, all 1500...

  You need a line converter to go from consumer unbalanced RCA to balanced XLR output using either The Matchbox HD or Art Cleanbox Pro.

I'm really astonished at how great these amps sound for music and home theater. I'm using multiples of these through a Rotel Processor. They are powering Magnepan LRS as main speakers and a Vienna Acoustics center channel. The Magnepans are notoriously power hungry and these drive them effortlessly.
