The Canon PowerShot ELPH 190 IS feels like a blast from the past, as many of its features seem like they were more common on point-n-shoot cameras from a few years ago. The ELPH 190 is plagued with a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a maximum 720p HD video resolution, tiny control buttons, inconsistent color...

Almost no shutter lag in adequate lighting conditions, Camera has a fast startup, 10x zoom lens is nice feature inside such a small camera, Camera moves through its full zoom lens range quickly, PowerShot 190 is extremely small, fits easily inside a pocket, Autofocus works well, produces relatively...

Colors reproduction isn't as accurate as it should be, Camera works very slowly when using the flash, Flash is embedded in a corner of the camera, Continuous shot mode isn't really usable because it's so slow, Very limited manual control options, Limited to shooting in JPEG; no RAW option, Maximum...

Brand new, brought with me to Europe and it's already got a deal line of pixels in every photo I've taken. Lightweight, decent pics otherwise. Added a pic of Notre Dame interior that I took. You can see the small white line running horizontally through the picture.

A friend visited me here in Montana so we decided to take the drive to Glacier National Park and I wanted to make sure we drove the "Road to the sun". Well, not having a camera I zoomed to the local electronics store about picked up this canon and I am so glad I did. The camera is amazing.

Good basic camera. Great for honing photographic composition skills and quick shots when you don't want to use your phone. Telephoto very good. Photos surprisingly sharp

it is a gift for my wife. She likes it.

So far it is a good little camera. Snow video came out great. Still photos sharp and clear.A good value if you only use it for candid shots.

This product was really great for a point and shoot. I wanted something more advanced. I ended up giving this to my no technical elderly aunt who to my surprise learned most of the features by the end of our month long trip.

I carried a Power shot camera for 15 years in my pocket and it worked great, it just wore out because I used it so much. At first I thought there was a learning curve on the 190 IS. Tried to get use to it's quirks but to no avail.

The CA was unacceptable in this, even for a P&S and the build quality is NOT what I've come to expect from Canon! As a pro-photographer, a P&S is generally my tertiary camera, keep it in the strap case on my pack at all times for quick shots or videos for evaluation shots.

Had it only a few days and was witness to a theft in progress and took pictures from about 100 yards away, and got perfect pictures of thief and get-away vehicle. Everyone was impressed. Thief is in jail now only because of the pictures I took.
