Nice, quiet focusing, light, fairly compact (for a telephoto zoom). Wish it were faster. I own L glass, which does work with the M3 when adapter used. However, sometimes I just want to travel with small kit, and this, combined with EF-M 15-45mm, works well.

So take a look at the sample photos and reviews on dpreview and canonrumors and stuff. You'll get a good sense of what youre getting. The image stabilization helps alot to get sharp photos even with lower shutter speeds, and sharpness is pretty good.
