This is an inexpensive upgrade from the on camera flash. It provides more power and a greater angle from the lens to reduce red eye. It is also fully integrated with my Canon 20D.
Does not match the picture but works well when additional lighting is needed. It takes a few seconds to charge back up between shots and can sometimes be too bright. It also drains batteries very fast so have backups.
Amazing at less than half-price of a "good" flash. Checked and tested it with no problems at all, tested on and off camera with no problems. I'm ordering my second.
I had Bower Flashes before and they are great for the price unless you are a professional. This is a good one I read that someone complained that the shoe mount was not screwed into metal, that is good because if the flash is mounted on the camera and set it down someone knocks it over it can break...
If you are just staring out and wanting to get used to a hot shoe flash, this product works nicely. It has decent swivel and settings. I've had it for over a year and it has had no mechanical or electrical problems.
this flash does not work... its difficult to understand and overexposes pictures even when set on dimmest setting. it has sat in my camera bag for 2 years unused
It is everything I had hoped for. Sometimes if I dont direct flash off to the side it over exposes the picture but this is my fault.
nice flash for your camera. makes a very good picture. has some nice settings. would recommend to anyone. works great.
This flash is so so. It is functional but does not synch with the camera to set the flash. Have to manually set the camera and guess.
This is a good flash for you money. You won't be able to program it to sync off cam with your camera or anything fancy for pros like that but it packs major flash. You will not have to worry about not being able to light your subjects well.
