Althogh my binoculars arrived decollimated (it took me a few minutes to solve it - loads of information on how to do it in the web) once I fixed it, they work pretty well and I'm very happy so far.I strongly recommend the use of a tripod, specially when using the zoom. The binocs are heavy.
I am really liking these binoculars. I prefer using them with the eyecups down (without eyeglasses). In this case I do not find the field of view restricted when zoomed in at all. It is a very full and clear view. I also do not have an issue with both eyes lining up. Very fun to use!
I have had these binos for over a year now. They have become my favorite. I have a 25x100 & 20x80. These have the advantage of variable magnification, plus they are much lighter then the 25x100. If when you first buy them, and they have a double image at 25x, they are out collimation, return them.
very good for long distance viewing but extremely heavy you really have to have a tripod, so depends on what how you're going to use them, not good for carrying around, but great if you can fix yourself somewhere with a tripod and look at the starts or long distances out to sea etc.
I purchased this for a friend that does not have Internet access. It was received before the promised date (that's good for holiday shipping) and I checked it out. It appeared to be good. Clear images, no problem with focusing or zooming.
My sons loves the zoom magnification power of these binoculars. Dad loves the price and quality. It is a bit tough to hold the binoculars steady. A tripod would be very handy.
I called for return authorization within hours of getting this. At anything over 25x, when I look through the binoculars, instead of the two images joining to form one, I got two separate images. I think part of the problem is I couldn't get the two eyepieces close enough together to match my eyes.
