Got this mic as an upgrade for our church. It is used by the pastor every week and the audio quality is very good. He commented that he really likes the comfort and fit of it as well. No fidgeting as with other "over-ear" headmics.
Have used both the Countryman E6 & this Audio-Technica mic for theater use for several years now. The AT is more affordable and sounds as good, but with no detachable cable, 90% of the time when they go bad, it's throwaway/replace. A-T will replace a dead one at a cost of 180.ish.
We bought these mics for a school production. They really help increase sound for middle school students who do not yet know how to project their voices. These worked great and best of all they were shipped over night as one of our current ones broke two days before opening night!!
we use it in our worship service. It comes with a double ear attachment band to securely fasten it to the wearer's head. Great sound and excellent pickup volume. 4 pin connector worked with our existing audio-technica body pack.
The microphone I use is for the pulpit in the Church. Now it gives me ease and I can walk around and have more direct communication with the audience. The sound clarity and richness is superb. Rev. Dr. Ondrej Franka
I bought this headworn mic for the head of our school who likes to use his hands while lecturing, and both he and I are very satisfied with this purchase. The mic is flexible and adjustable so that it can be worn comfortably when moving around.
We use this headset for our pastor every Sunday at church and we love it! It's comfortable to wear, it stays secured around the ears, and it sounds great! It's also seems less easy to break like others, from too much bending around.
This headworn microphone is an awesome piece of equipment. The engineers at Audio-Technica knew what they were doing when they came up with this one. I run the sound system for a large church and we have been using these for several years.
I was having trouble with lapel/lavalier mic for speakers who did not consistently project their voice. We decided to try this earworn mic with our existing AT body pack, and it makes a huge difference. Voice clarity is supperb, and there is always plenty of signal without feedback issues.
