It doesn't have a microphone wire, BUT it's very very easy to do one yourself, fantastic headphones
Hands down an amazing set of headphones, no doubt about it. Compared them to a huge rack of competitors at my local music store. By far the best sound for me... bass is there and it's tight but not overwhelming, mid is warm and clean, highs break through nicely.

I was about to order the Beats Pro and had no doubt they were the best headphones I've had heard until. . . After researching online and watching several different reviews from different people, I was convinced to buy the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones.
I have spent a long time looking for a pair of headphones that I could use on the road for mixing and mastering tracks, as I'm an audio engineer who travels quite a bit and it's extremely inconvenient to only be able to work at home on monitors.
These are essentially the same unit as the original ATH-50 with interchangeable cables. I've owned the original 50s for several years and they're one of my favorite tracking/mixing/mastering headphones. Highly rated by consumers and pros alike and rightly so. I enjoy their smooth response.
This review was made possible by 셰에라자드, who set up a loaner tour for interested individuals. I was allowed to use the product freely for a week, and while I was requested to write a review, the subsequent opinions are my own, without any incentive for a positive review.
