Asus' ZenPad 3s wants to be a serious competitor for Apple and aims to attract iPad owners. Thanks to a high-quality casing and hi-res sound, this might even function - were it not for some strange happenings during the test...
stylish metal casing, good configuration, accurate controls, fingerprint scanner, good screen, low temperature development, useful battery life, sharp photos, very loud speakers
cameras' low dynamics, poor video quality, slow GPS module, 12-month warranty only, very loud system noises, trebles sometimes dominate unpleasantly, fluctuating system performance
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is a fantastic portable video watcher with enough storage to get you through long flights at a reasonable price.
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 has a sharp, clear HD screen and its design is both comfy and cool. The fingerprint scanner adds extra security. Comes with a good amount of storage for its price.
The speakers are easy to block when holding in landscape orientation. Games take their time to load.
My wife had an iPad 2 but after waiting for so long for Apple to upgrade the iPad lineup, I looked for something that would work more seamlessly with the Google apps that she uses every day on her phone. This is the first tablet (that I have seen) running the latest Android OS and it's a winner.
Good looking screen, plenty of storage, light-weight, long battery life, loud speakers, low price!
Lots of Asus apps I don't need
Build QualityExcellent quality, thin and sleak design. The metal casing stands out, the bezel is minimal at the front. The fingerprint scanner is good, reads and unlocks very fast.DisplayGreat display crisp colors and the touch is smooth and easy. Zen UI doesn't really have any lags.
I looked around quite a bit before settling on this tablet. Hard to find one with 4gb of RAM, but it makes a real difference. 64gb of storage is really nice to have, and there's a card slot. The screen is large and clear. Cameras seem to be of good quality so far. Dual band wifi is handy.
I got very excited with the look and built of the device and bought one. Soon in one month the device stopped charging after hours of charge. The device was sent to specific location for repair as it just crossed a month and won't be eligible for exchange.
Great product, nothing but successful !
I use this tablet mostly for teaching Bible Study as I have a Bible package on it and Microsoft Word, and for taking pictures and listening to music. I absolutely love the size & quality of the screen and the clarity of the pictures I have taken so far is very good.
I love the tablet. it is fast and the system for organizing the apps is a good one. it is more user friendly than a Samsung galaxy tab pro (which I have with the Kit Kat system). the tablet is thin and light with a great screen. great buy for the price.
The Asus ZenPad 3s 10 is unable to connect to WiFi hosted by an Asus RT-AC68U router using WPA2-Personal security level.
Love this tablet. After my Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 battery replacement fiasco, I had to buy a new tab. After doing my due dilligence, I decided that I wasn't going with Samsung again (a quick review of their battery life is discouraging) and the Google tab is way too expensive - I came to this one.
This tablet is as close to an iPad Air with Android as you are likely to get. It’s thin, light, and sturdy. The screen a clear and crisp. It has stylish rounded edges and a very nice build quality. Asus includes their own suite of software, but it rarely gets in the way.
