Great video, great audio, stable image with good color, compact size fits the hand, and SD card is handy for transferring files. If only my old recording equipment were so sturdy and functional. I will use this for a long time!
Great video and soubd. When you first see it you may think oh no what did I buy because it's so small but this cam kicks butt!
I have a good number of cameras and was hoping this would be a good addition - unfortunately the image quality is simply not up to par... most settings have an overwhelming bluish cast (the warmer visual settings over amp the red - and ALL settings blow out with relatively saturated colours), the...
i use this cam to record my bands gigs. i then down load and make video DVD's of the shows, it works great
The camera does everything it was intended to do. Good quality, easy to use, and great results for video & sound. Worth the money.
This camera records audio very well, but the video is of such low quality that it is unusable. It has no optical zoom (and of course digital zoom is not to be considered because it looks so bad, on any device). I'm sorry I bought this.
I knew when I purchased this that the sound would be just right, but I wanted something that would work well in different lighting situations, specifically low light. It does work well. It is taking me some time to figure out the best setting for each situation and that is the trick.
I really wanted to give this a better review but I have been using the camera alot lately and there are just too many things that frustrate me about it. The good things: the sound quality is good, as you would expect from any Zoom product.
I have used this to record several concerts, and it works great. The built in mics work really well, and the controls are pretty straight forward. Be aware that this camera is clearly designed to be a set-and-forget camera-set it up to get a single decent shot of your concert and leave it.
Just set it up and used it to record A Shakuhachi flute , outdoors ....which has extreme highs AND lows. Plugged in pair of studio headphones in (if you're out to check sound quality, a tiny speaker on the side is not gonna help you judge that)....and it was impressive....
