This could very well be the best camera I've used yet to capture live music performances. I've tried the Kodak Z-8i, the Sony Webbie and various other cell phone based cameras and one of the factors has always been the less than adequate audio quality, particularly in venues where the sound pressure...
I knew exactly what I wanted to use this camera for when I ordered it, and crossed my fingers it would work as planned. I have a home 16 track recording studio and wanted a way to not only record videos of my performances in my studio, but I also wanted to capture the audio mix with effects from my...
Easy set upGreat quality videoGreat quality audioFlexible wiring options for inputs and outputs
My only complaint is that the recordings of live music overemphasize the bass frequencies. Otherwise, the camera is great. The viewing angle for the camera is very wide, a plus for me.
This one of the coolest things I have ever bought. It records great video and audio (especially the audio). I was pleasantly surprised who well this thing works and how easy it is to operate. Well worth the money! I would recommend purchasing the accessories pack (sold separately).
I'm not impressed by the video quality, but the sound is pretty good. Easy to setting and not expensive for what it is. I try to share a music video, but I can't, only photo allowed. Too bad.
I bought this to record my mother’s choir while on a tour of Italy. I liked the versatility, but the thing ate batteries. Further, the unit ceased to function as soon as I got home and I nearly lost all of those recordings!
Great little camera for musicians. Very easy learning curve. Has lighting presets plus wide angle view. Volume control knob on the side and decent built in microphone.
The Q2n is a great way to capture your band's performance. Unlike other competitors who offer cameras with a microphone, the Zoom Q2n is really a great microphone first that happens to have a camera. The audio I got this weekend at a couple of gigs is very clear and not overly compressed.
Bought it almost six months ago and I'm super disappointed. 1. The battery lasts maybe an hour if not less even while shooting with the lowest quality. 2. Shuts off in the middle of recording even if there are enough battery and memory.
Audio quality is excellent. Superb. Video is much improved over previous models. Many more lighting modes to choose from. Video "zoom" is still kinda disappointing, but that's to be expected. Clarity with wide is very good, but the more zoomed-in you get, the more grainy it gets.
