This could very well be the best camera I've used yet to capture live music performances. I've tried the Kodak Z-8i, the Sony "Webbie" and various other cell phone based cameras and one of the factors has always been the less than adequate audio quality, particularly in venues where the sound...
I knew exactly what I wanted to use this camera for when I ordered it, and crossed my fingers it would work as planned. I have a home 16 track recording studio and wanted a way to not only record videos of my performances in my studio, but I also wanted to capture the audio mix with effects from my...
Easy set upGreat quality videoGreat quality audioFlexible wiring options for inputs and outputs
Audio quality is better than my girlfriend's smartphone and that was the main point of buying it. No more white noise in the background. Video quality is ok. Hard to get a good zoom in on a particular subject. More of a wide angle camera.
This one of the coolest things I have ever bought. It records great video and audio (especially the audio). I was pleasantly surprised who well this thing works and how easy it is to operate. Well worth the money! I would recommend purchasing the accessories pack (sold separately).
Just received this tonight. Did a quick demo of my family in the living room. I used the highest resolution and auto settings. Audio seems great. Video seems ok, but the lighting in my home is pretty dim. I read a review stating that the Zoom Q2n would not work with a Mac.
Initially impressed with this but i find that it's only marginally useful for my purposes of an extra angle shooting stage shows. Largely overexposed and the mic isn't that good; i seldom select it's angle or audio when editing performances.
I've been waiting for years for a video camera with all these features and feel like someone read my mind. "Handy" is a great description as it is so easily adaptable to different situations. Great product!
great little product. Pretty idiot proof.
This is a very cool and compact video cam. It is easy to use and does get very good quality audio recording of my bands gigs. It does eat batteries rather quickly, and I am having trouble finding the A/C adapter for this unit
Perfect scratchpad tool for quickly "jotting down" riffs, arrangements, etc. I find that since it's video, not only can I see what I'm playing, but I more apt to explain to my future self what I was thinking. Easy to use, great quality sound & picture. What more could you want?
