The Carl Zeiss Touit 12mm f2.8 is a wide-angle prime lens designed for mirror-less system cameras. It's available in two versions for either the Sony NEX or Fujifilm X-mounts, and when fitted to either system, the lens delivers an 18mm equivalent field of view, making it the widest prime lens...
I like this lens a lot. Well built and very pretty (if that is of importance). Purchased to replace my Rokinon 12mm f/2.0. Truth be told, at least for the copies I have, the Rokinon is a bit sharper in the center, but the Zeiss wins at the corners and edges.
This is a sleeper of a lens. Very sharp and love the bokeh on shallow depth of field macro shots. Still playing with the lens but it’s a keeper for me. It does hunt when autofocusing but most macro work is done in manual focus.
Excellent performance... aperture ring doesn’t firmly locks A position
I was fortunate and able to purchase this lens (a couple of years ago) as part of a bundle with a 32mm for less than the price of what the 12mm sells for today by itself. Its a challenge to shoot with a lens that is so wide (18mm in 35mm perspective) but I do love using it for landscapes.
I was truly surprised with the versatility and image quality of this lens. I bought it for the macro capabilities, but find myself leaving it on the camera more and more as a normal lens. I love the focal length and the quality of images at all ranges near to far is amazing.
A fantastic lens, great for close up work, i do a lot of food photography, but also excellent for portraits! I definitely recommend it!
Love Zeiss and had the old 50mm Pentax mount which I used and loved for years. having recently switched to Fuji XT 2 I bought the 60mm and can happily say it is as good if not better than my old lens. Use it mainly in the studio photographing dead bugs in ice - focus stacking and it works a treat.
this lens is amazing, i use it on my XT1 for a lot of concert photography where i can get up close to stage with a few feet. the sharpness and colors are fantastic. Its the best lens i have for my Fuji arsenal and i have the 23mm and 56mm.
Most amazingly sharp macro lens for Fujifilm X cameras. Nice bokeh and a great portrait lens too.
This is quite possibly the best selfie lens ever, oh and it's not half bad a nailing landscapes either.
