To start, you can't go wrong with Zeiss lenses. This monocular is about the size of a fountain pen, which makes it extremely handy to keep in your pocket and pull out at a moments notice. Due to the small size, most people, including myself, will still need to use two hands to keep it steady.
I own two Zeiss monoculars but this is the one I use all the time. I am dumbfounded that this little product has such a bright image. I keep it tucked in my shirt pocket and it has that handy clip. The monocular is perfect - well-made, attractive, compact and worth every penny.
Small, handy monocular. Will carry and use more often than a larger one. In hindsight, would have gotten a small scope with greater magnification.
Small diameter and quick focus make this a good quick scope. The optics work well with my eyeglasses and are pretty well defined. Only downside: no case. I ordered a nice leather fountain pen case that fits fine; but a basic vinyl one would have been ok if it was included.
This is a great piece of optical gear. It's important to understand the limitations and benefits, then enjoy what you have here! I'm a long-time user of high quality binoculars, and you simply can't expect the same performance from a monocular, but that should be expected.
This monocular is very well made with excellent optics. It could not be lighter or smaller. The reason I have only given it 4 stars is that I bought it to use when out hacking on my horse, the 5x magnification coupled with the very narrow field of view, means it is difficult to hold still when...

Easy to Use
I got this monocular for travel and general usage were binocular are to heavy to carry or may not socially cumbersome (city streets, museums etc..). I use this little high quality optic gem in my urban and regular type hiking and travels.
I love the stunning clarity of this monocular - even in low light. I keep it handy because it is so light and fast - it stays focused at my chosen range and whenever wildlife presents itself I can almost instantly be lensing.
For how small it is. The light it brings in is pretty impressive. Outside with good light conditions, it was what I was hoping for. Super clear great contrast and sharpness. I grip it with my middle, ring and pinky finger and put my thumb on my cheek and pointer finger on my forehead and can hold it...
I wanted a very small monocular for travelling and chose this one.(I already have a good monocular and an excellent pair of binoculars but seldom carry them because of their size.)I was not disappointed after I got over the initial shock of how tiny and light the MiniQuick actually is...
