The Carl Zeiss C Biogon T* 2,8/35 ZM is a compact lens for rangefinder cameras with a moderate wide-angle field of view. It's extremely sharp from edge to edge, and worthy of our Editors' Choice award.

This Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 C Biogon ZM is optically superb, but its unique filter size makes it a bear to deploy as part of a larger system. I have a real problem with having to buy and carry a second set of 43mm filters to support this lens in actual shooting.
The Zeiss C Biogon T* 35mm f/2.8 is supposed to deliver great images on film but it doesn't really harmonize well with the Sony sensor of the NEX-5. The center image quality is simply great even at max.
Bought it for my Leica M-E. Just superb. Lightweight, compact. Image quality and functional qualities are all phenomenal. Only downsides are (a) it has a dodgy lenscap -- tough to take on & off, (b) doesn't come with a lens shade and buying the proper one isn't inexpensive.
It's a good basic lens if you're looking for a M mount lenses. High quality, very sharp.
Small, sharp, light. I use this lens on leica rangefinders. A lot less expensive than Leica equivalent and excellent image quality. I feel ok about traveling anywhere with this lens- frankly, if it's broken or stolen it's considerably less of a loss. I find the handling to be just fine.
Photography is my hobby. Just wanted to add a sample photo to show the quality of the lens.Had this lens for 4 years now and still works and looks good.
Using this lens for 4 years now. Love it. Still looks and works like new. Its affordable compared to Leica lenses.
I have been using this lens on a Sony a7II body to take landscape shots in bright light and also to shoot indoors in dim lighting. Image quality is excellent. The lens is easy to focus and (when in focus) produces sharp images with great color across its entire aperture range.
Wonderfully sharp images from both lenses, especially the 35, with good build quality and a nice, compact design. Wasn't too happy with the narrow, somewhat awkwardly placed focus and aperature rings.
