Good Product, Great Customer Service
Received in good condition, works well. Had a whistling sound, communicated with customer service and was sent replacement baffles the same day. Installation was more difficult than necessary because:
Instructions are "one size fits all" instead of specific, mounting screws are blocked by wiring devices on top of blowers, had to tighten with pliers. Installing the chimney surround was also a pain. The screws for hanging the hood seem too small and the washers on them are a pain to slip thru the holes, should have used a larger size screw with an integrated washer head. All-in all, I'd buy it again but supply some of my own hardware.

Function and Beauty
I bought this (KF2-36) range hood several months before my house was completed enough to install, but I didn't want to chance it selling out. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition There is a plastic lining adhered to the stainless steel finish to protect it from scratches and it is packed in styrofoam to prevent dents. All the hardware needed to install is included, and everything goes together well. I chose this model because of the four CFM settings. It has enough power to vent anything I can cook up. The lights are bright and pool over the stove top. I do wish there were two light settings instead of one, but this is minor. The range hood operates well and is surprisingly quiet. The best part is that it looks beautiful while it functions flawlessly.

Good looking hood, not as quiet as advertised.
We installed this in a new house and really like how it looks. At the price it is a good value and seems well made. We like that it holds a magnet for hanging pot holders on the side.
But the claims of the fan noise being equivalent to a whisper are not true. On the lowest setting it might be 50 decibels, not 30. The sound level was important to us and thus the 3 rating. Other than that, it is a great hood.

good for the price
Relatively quiet and moves a lot of air. Adequate lighting. Do not care for how flimsy the air baffles are. In all, a decent hood for the price. Customer service could not have been better when we needed to return the first fan because it was dented up. The replacement fan came dented too but we kept it as it was on the back corner and could not be seen when mounted. When we mounted the replacement we placed our mounting screws perfectly level and when we hung the hood it was tilted by about 1/2 inch at the corner. This was caused by the mounting holes in the back of the fan being off from each other by 1/16". We used a Dremel and evened up the height of the holes. I would recommend this fan if you are on a budget and need hood that is more powerful than a standard range hood.

Love the high end look!
Bought this unit for my new kitchen remodel. I was seeking a high end look at a reasonable price and am very happy I went with the Zline product. The unity is very well constructed and looks very high end...I had been looking at some other models that were inserts at twice the price, so when I received the unit and opened the box I was very impressed by the quality. Easy to install too, did it myself and I am just a DIY homeowner...the only knock is the install manual is very general, you have to figure out the brackets for the crown on your own and the Zline videos are just as vague...but found a youtube video of an online by a professional contractor that showed an install in detail...turned out to be very easy once I saw the video.

It’s Perfect!
We love this range hood! It was super easy to install. The fan is powerful and much quieter than our old microwave exhaust. I love how it has changed the whole look and feel of our kitchen. No more Smokey smelly house!
