I was looking for a slave for my Canon Speedlite 600EX and was very impressed with my Yongnuo work horse manual flash that I used daily for my photography business, the Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite I have been using and testing the flash for the past couple of weeks and have been impressed enough to...
Great product for the price, It work nicely with my Canon EOS 5D mark III, Sure I recommend 100%, it is a powerful substitute of Canon very Expensive Flashgun
It works great with my Canon DSLR. The built quality is good too. The flash also comes with a continuous light for video recording. It is an all-around performance product. Great product for the price also.
Used them for a single shoot so far and they worked great. They feel great and the build quality is good too. No complaints so far. Remember that these are upgradeable so get the latest firmware.
I bought two YN560 III with a flash controllerYN560-TXI love the set and now I add the YN968EX-RT to the set.I love the new YN968 it works better than Canon flash
I use these flashes manually and it is nice to have HSS. Was able to not have to pull ND filters out last shoot.
I am a professional photographer full time, just photographed a mardi gras ball with lots flash and 3 social events associated. This flash was very impressive and had the power to bounce and light a room. Not built like the cannon but can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Good buy so far.
I can't get the flash to connect to my computer to update the firmware. They are already on version 1.11 so there have been a lot of bug fixes. I successfully updated my YNe3-RX so I know how to do the update.
This flash does not work consistently in ETTL mode if you use bounce flash, which is how I typically shoot. I tried the flash on my Canon 7D and tested bounce flash at several distances. Close-up objects were over-exposed by about 1 stop. Far-away objects were under-exposed by 2 to 3 stops.
