I have a tundra haul, (2) 45s, and a 35. But I had to pull the trigger on this sexy piece of engineering design. It’s definitely going to be my stay at home cooler for patio and get togethers. I attached photos next to a tundra 45. The thinner walls definitely help out a lot to reduce cooler overall size yet gain area inside. It might also tag along on some road trips since it has a small footprint and taller. It’s built solid, but I will definitely baby it compared to my tundras. The wife even likes how it looks in the kitchen (just dont tell her the price tag...). It was shipped very securely and the black nylon cover is a very nice touch. Love the single latch and handles. Easy to hold and carry alone, but a bit heavier due to the SS. Curious if they will release more sizes and colors in the future...I’m sure they will since they say “series”. I’m a fan for what it is. But prefer my tundras for outdoor trips etc.

Tundra Killer!
I bough this cooler a couple of weeks ago thinking it would perform similarly to my tundra series coolers… boy was I wrong! The vacuum sealed walls and top make this thing way better than the already fantastic tundra series. I did no prep and threw 2 bags of 20lbs ice in it and left it outside in the summer heat of Charleston, SC. This cooler held ice so well that I had to dump the ice out on the 7th day because it just wouldn’t melt! My V Series will be my go to cooler when I need a week plus worth of ice without having to worry!

Good cooler, but..
Overall I really like the V-series. I saw a lot of people talking about how heavy it is, it really isn't bad. Maybe fully loaded, but so is every cooler that can hold that much.
In case you are wondering, it is not the stainless steel that magnets can stick to, I was hoping, thought it would be cool.
My main drawback is it can't sit out in the sun, it will literally burn you. I had it out in the sun for several hours, with the cover on. I guess because of the side holes in the cover it heated the whole cooler up to scolding hot. I mean, it makes sense, stainless steel plus the sun. No different than the ramblers. On the ramblers, however, I can put a silicone sleeve on them to cancel that out. I think it would be pretty sweet if a wrap or a silicone sleeve came out for it. It sucks, the first cooler they make that won't warp in the sun, and you can't have it in the sun..
Overall, I really like it, nice converstion piece. Holds ice well, looks good.

Beautiful & true test of warranty.
Ordered and received this beautiful cooler…only to find it already dented when unboxed. This was my first time dealing with the Yeti warranty process, but man did it go perfectly! Followed the step by step online process on the website, and within a day or 2 had a RMA and prepaid label to send back…within 10 days had a replacement in house, dent-free and just as beautiful as the first! I cannot, at this time, attest to its functionality, just how amazing it looks and how even more amazing the Yeti warranty team/process are/is.

Yeti V The Ultimate Cooler
We loaded it for a 3 day cross country trip in 90 degree plus weather. When we got to our destination and opened the cooler it was still solid ice and everything was fine, our frozen items were still frozen solid and the cold items were ice cold. This cooler exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased. We hope to get many years of good use as we start the road tripping part of our lives.

Great cooler! Lacks Inside Storage Solutions
I haven't actually got to use the cooler yet but I know from the reviews it is going to keep things cold forever. And it looks beautiful. I have seen reviews that say it is heavy... I guess so but it sure feels lighter than my Tundra 65 and it has about the same interior volume. The reason this cooler does not get 5 stars is because yeti has failed to make this a complete cooling solution. We need dry food storage cubes or racks for the inside. The lid should have a built in fastening system for YETI ICE blocks. From the performance reviews I have read and heard personal testimony, I plan to use this as a substitute for a refrigerator in my adventure van. Most of my trips are a week or less and this thing will keep things cold with a YETI ice or two, no problem. I just need better storage management for the inside.

Excellent ice chest; beautiful design. The only drawback is that it is so heavy, I expected it to be heavy after reading reviews, but it is even heavier than expected. I hope Yeti will introduce a smaller version of the same, so that people have a choice -- in most cases I would not need such a large ice chest.

Best cooler, but need smaller size
I bought this cooler because it holds more ice, longer, with no prep time, with a smaller package.
It is the best possible cooler you can get, no exceptions.
Only problem is that it is too big to use as a roadtrip cooler. They need to make it in a smaller size.
