Its gets baked everyday!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] every day! Finally took the plunge & got one. I'm a Genearl contractor in roofing. I've used the double wall vacuum bottles from you and it has fallen from, and survived many roof falls and not busted, I went ahead & got the cooler & stays locked up in the bed of my truck on job sites all day long. Just cooking in that vicious texas sun. And then I open that bad boy up & low and behold all that precious Ice. Still sitting there bathing the crews drinks. I tell you, when you open something and see all that ice and cold beverages in all this hot it just looks like it doesn't belong. Me & these hard working boys thank ya.

Finally got my tundra 65 and it’s awesome looking although I must say having a tundra haul and Roadie 20 it seems to me that Yeti has some QC issues with new coolers going out mine shipped with a good amount of Minor scuffs not a huge deal but for the price of a 65 I would have liked to make the first marks on it myself also some excess material on some of the edges probably from coming out of the mold not sure. With that being said before I got the olive color I had just exchanged a harvest red 65 because the lid would not stay open. I’m still a huge yeti fan but I think they need to do a more thorough quality check before shipping out product.

Extra fridge space on vacation
We had two beach trips planned this summer. With COVID, we wanted to avoid a marathon shopping trip the day we arrived at the beach. So we bought the Yeti Tundra 65 to haul all our groceries for the week. Packed with milk, eggs, OJ, lunchables, deli meats, fruit, etc., we strapped the Tundra 65 on a hitch platform to make the 100 degree 9 hour trip. Worked perfectly. Food stayed good and cold. Even the frozen food held surprisingly well. We then used the Tundra as extra cold storage the rest of the week. All the drinks stayed frosty and cold, freeing up coveted fridge space for leftovers and other stuff. Looking forward to getting more use out of it for many years to come.

Too Big/Ice Retention not as expected
Had it for about a month and ended up returning it. It was too big and awkward to carry and move fully loaded. Also the ice retention wasn’t what I expected. I did everything right regarding pre chilling and ice ratio and only got about 3.5 days until the ice melted in moderate temps. It only outperformed my old cheap cooler by a day. Also the drain plug either leaked or had a lot of condensation because I kept having a small puddle. The build is solid though. Very durable, tough and looks good. I may try the Tundra 45 for the smaller size but may look into other brands. I was a bit disappointed the Yeti I always wanted didn’t perform as expected.

Perfect size for my needs and ice retention is superb. I keep it in the bed of my truck and enjoy the rubber feet that really grip and prevent any sliding. My only wish for improvement for my specific use would be to also have a lock hole on the rear side of the cooler. I know that the front lock holes prevents both cooler and contents theft but I'm most concerned with cooler theft. I would prefer to have a separate front lock when concerned about content theft or more unlikely hungry bears. Chained to the back of the truck, my only option is to have a longer and more cumbersome chain. Regardless, I Love My Yeti

I had a Yeti Tank 45 for a few years and it's amazing for a lot of uses, but really wanted a Tundra and got the 65. Not disappointed. It is everything thing I anticipated. Great looking,quality construction, and functions as I knew it would,. I store it in the garage in an overhead rack. About 6' high. I lost my balance as I was pulling it down, and it fell the entire 6' to the concrete floor . It bounced about 3' in the air off the floor twice before I could get a hold of it. Not only is it grizzly proof, it's clumsy proof. Not even a scratch. Unless it's hit by a missile, don't think ill ever need another cooler. Best cooler out there.

Saved my fridge! All-around great cooler
I've had this cooler for about two years now and have used it for weekend long music festivals, camping, and trips. However more recently it truly proved its worth and abilities after Hurricane Zeta hit New Orleans earlier this year. A few days prior I had gone grocery shopping, and not long after was alerted about the possible hurricane heading our way. It ended up downing a lot of power lines, and my apartment was without power for 3 days. Thankfully, a few bags of ice and my Tundra 35 as well were filled with everything that may have otherwise gone bad in that time. It helped me save all of the food I would have otherwise lost and thankful a great product like this was made!

Great product
We bought this cooler, in Navy, as a gift. We personally have several other YETI products and coolers but we don't have the Tundra 65 (yet). This cooler is the perfect size. The 35 is great for drinks but if you're looking for something more 'all purpose' this is it. There is space for plenty of drinks and food. I also feel the storage rack will actually be used in the 65 because there is plenty of room. If you are hesitant to spend the money on YETI cooler, don't be. We keep ice in our coolers for days (in the bed of a hot pick up at that!) It is nice to be out all day and not have food floating in water or hot and questionable.
