I am a part-time professional and I've had this bass for a few months and it still amazes. I picked it up, took it home and it was great right out of the box. I even took it to a studio session three days later, and the producer LOVED it!! I've played a Yamaha for years, but this one is awesome!

This is the best bass I have ever owned. The tone, feel, and quality are the best I've experienced and I have owned so many basses over the years. This was my first Yamaha and it certainly will not be my last. Cannot be any better!
