Great introductory home theater combo. You'll need to buy an IR repeater/emitter set (only costs about $10) if you want to store it in a cabinet or in a false wall theater equipment storage location that hides the equipment while using the remote control.
As described. Recommended. Easy install.
Solid receiver for the price. Great sound paired with my Yamaha NS-SP1800BL 5.1 speakers. 4 HDMI inputs is plenty, and it's nice to have the 1/4" jack on the front. Also I configured the speaker level adjusts with the YPAO feature, and found it to be pretty accurate in its ranging. Good power too.
Luv it. Would buy it again.
Solid, well made and performs well. There are a few features on more expensive versions I might have wanted, but at the price point the RX-V383 is quite hard to beat. Easy set up. Still fiddling with some of the detailed custom settings, but it's up and running.
I am really impressed with this unit. It sounds great, is fairly e3asy to use, has enough features so I don't feel lacking, and was at a good price. I am very happy with my purchase.
Love the bluetooth feature and the preset volume level on startup. I set it a bit low so it doesn't blare when I turn it on even if I turned it off at high volume.
Love the 4K upscaling, auto power on/off, and audio self calibration
Great price to features

Great features and performance for the price.
Very easy to set up and start using.
The unit is a little quirky with ARC connections.
A fantastic buy. Easy set up, excellent sound and device recognition. Amazing value, we feel like we stole it for the price we paid.
