For the price you get a lot features. I would say the pros are great sound quality and good volume control. My main complaint is the lack of multi-track over USB and my unit has a slight tick in the internal cooling fan. The fan is inaudible at a live event, but in a studio it is noticeable.

I have the MG 16 XU stereo mixer with effects.I needed the same but smaller in size but not in ability to produce a great sound separation etc .This MG 12 XU is exactly that the audience love all of the sounds. So happy with this piece. My entire studio is Yamaha.
Very good quality and reliability best purchase of the year
Bought as a replacement for my Behringer mixer which served me well so much crisper sound and its got a good range of vocal effects to suit most venues and eventualities Its got plenty of outputs so I can have satellite speakers controlled separately to the main speakers
Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is the switch pot on the effects knob is a little iffy. I had to pull it off and sand it shorter to make the attenuation work reliably. Other than that it's great.
I use this mixer for church audio and video mixing. The sound quality is excellent. It is very easy to use and control panel is laid out very nice. The USB port is a very nice feature as well.

The equipment is out dated. Still uses the old USB-B connection to connect to computer. Im new to this type of equipment and there is very little support on how to connect and use the device on the computer. The software to run the device no longer exists.
This is the best powered mixer I have ever used. I’ve had different mixers and nothing compares to this one, it is the one I was needing for a long time and it has help me in my music production, has excellent effects and excellent sound quality which helps my production, I recommend it very much to...
