I bought this printer to use with my MacBook air, never thinking that there would be a problem to print remotely on it as it is WIFI enabled. Unfortunately, the printer driver on a disc is unusable in a MacBook air, and there is no existing driver online to download either.
I was spending a fortune on printing services. I needed double sided printing and a fast speed. The little printer I was using took forever to print 50 pages. Now I print hundreds of pages - with double sides- at a fraction of the time. This printer paid for itself in one month.
The good: + Print quality is superb + Once set up, it is relatively easy to use all of the functions (print, scan, copy, fax) + Relatively fast printing + Sheet fed scanner is relatively fast + Great price point for a laser printer + After market consumables (toner only so far) are cheap The not so...

Only black.
Unboxing and setup took only a few minutes. To ensure the most up to date software, I downloaded it from the mfg website rather than use the install disk. Installing the wifi does require the printer to be momentarily connected to a computer/laptop via USB (provided); something to consider before...
Our HP Fax machine gave out so I was in search of another machine for faxing. In shopping for a fax machine I came across this Xerox WorkCentre 3215 that does it all. My main reason for purchasing this was the fact that we needed the ability to fax and my boss would no longer have to bother me to...
Overall this is a nice printer (mfp). What it lacks is a large screen for configuration. The wifi also seems to be stuck to only one channel. I neglected to see if this could also scan to folder, scan to usb. It also does not wake up from print when configured to WiFi.
The scanner is constantly disconnecting and now the printer. I have reinstalled the software at least monthly since obtaining this printer six or seven months ago. It is very frustrating and frequently lets me down when client's need copies or things scanned.
This is an affordable multifunction printer and works fine with Windows 7 and upwards. The print quality is excellent and scanner works well too. This printer is however not for Mac IOS. The software comes in a CD that you can run on windows or download the same from Xerox website.
Very inexpensive to buy, and the toner is not expensive either. It cannot do a heavy load of xeroxing, Because it is not that fast, however, it is good for light/medium copying. You don’t have to spend a fortune on color ink as you do with color copiers that are always running out of color ink and...
