At first, the Halo+ just looks like a minor refresh to the original Halo which was launched pretty recently in 2020. The spec sheet reads quite similarly for size, weight, lens setup, resolution, and even speaker watts, so it stands to to reason to wonder how much more 100 ANSI lumens bring to the...

Modern, up-to-date Android experience, Native Netflix support at time of review, Very loud and crisp built-in speakers, Auto Keystone now included as well, Solid 900 ANSI lumens great for camping adventures, Compact and portable, Throw ratio of 1.2:1 allows for a massive projection even in a small...

Netflix not officially supported - thus, this may be short lived, Slightly less runtime than the original Halo, Barebones packaging with no remote batteries or case included, Equally priced to a 4K Smart TV, so consider that the Halo+ has a different use case, Battery use limits maximum brightness...
For most people, the subtle but meaningful upgrades in XGIMI's Halo+ from the orignal Halo are well worth the $100 difference.

Slow to start without Hibernate mode, Confusing menus, Need to install Web browser, Lacks Netflix compatibility
The Xgimi Halo Plus (Halo+) expertly balances portability with power. Despite some minor annoyances, the Halo Plus is an excellent all-around projector for use at home and on the go. Be prepared to shell out quite a bit of cash for the convenience.
One type of product that I’ve come to really enjoy over the last few years is a projector. Having always relied on televisions, I was familiar with the benefits and features of a projector but never spent any real time using one.
Getting a portable projector used to mean making a lot of technical compromises for the sake of a wire-free experience, but XIGIMI’s Halo+ proves that’s no longer. This 1080p projector can create a 120-inch screen, supports HDR, has a built-in 10W stereo speaker system designed by Harman Kardon, and...

Incredibly easy to setup thanks to automatic focus, keystone adjustments, and obstacle avoidance— which occasionally needs a helping hand.

You'll need to reduce the brightness and stick to a streaming service if you want to get through an entire two hour movie on a single charge.
The XGIMI Halo+ projector is great for viewing or gaming on the go, which also does a more than decent job as a home unit. The brightness and battery life are genuinely impressive, and the speakers are a real standout.
With its surprisingly snappy performance, stunning picture quality, and physics-defying compact frame, the Xgimi Halo+ manages to stand out from the crowd of smart portable projectors out there. It’s so close to perfection, in fact, that you’ll be hard-pressed to find fault in it.

Fast and powerful performance, Impeccable picture quality, Excellent feature set

Can be a little loud, Not cheap
The gimmick of a portable projector can almost always be skipped, but the Xgimi Halo Plus could just improve the category entirely....

Compact, Neat idea, Works from power and on battery, Great sound for the size, Includes Android TV

Auto-keystone can be hit and miss, If you lose the remote, the projector isn't remarkably easy to use
XGIMI Halo Plus the Android TV-Powered Smart Projector Hands-On Review: Movie Nights You Can Have Anywhere!
Projection on a white wall is perfect, remains very bright even in a brightly lit room. Very good sound, image adjustment at your convenience (zoom, image height). Really nothing to complain about
Pretty good for what it is. Software works quite well, the automatic adjustments are great. The built in speakers are loud but have minimal bass, fine for youtube but I'd suggest using external speakers.
I happy with my purchase with the XGIMI Halo+. Overall I am happy with the picture quality and the Built-In speaker work really well.
Great picture and easy to use only thing not netflix certified which sucks but otherwise great product
Works well in a dark space. There is some light bleed after the auto keystone. but overall works pretty well once the sun goes down or with the blinds closed.Built in speakers are pretty good.It isnt a $3000 dollar home cinema job so dont buy it expecting that.
Good sound, great picture, very user friendly. I would recommended to friends and purchase it again.
This is awesome. So impressed. Exceeded expectations. So bright
This mobile projector is simply brilliant. The brightness is a bit diminished on battery but you can watch a full movie. You can put your accounts directly on it or cast from a tablet/smartphone.
