My Whynter 65qt dual voltage fridge has been rock solid. I use it as my drinks fridge in the hot garage when home and hosting parties. But it also serves as my 12 volt powered overlanding fridge on countless offroad trips. It's been to Mexico and all over the Western half of the United States.
I love this portable cooler. It works very well. Recommend you use a battery power station rather than your vehicle power when the engine is not running. We used it for an entire week camping in the Colorado mountains, and we loved it's quality. We kept frozen items most of the time.
Owned this for 3 months. I use it in my campervan and is mainly powered by solar. Uses very little power and keeps everything nice and cold. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be but works great. Plenty a room for my camping/traveling trips.
I bought the FM 65G version. I found it double-boxed to minimize the risk of damage during shipment. One thing I disliked about a Dometic refrigerator I previously bought was their use of two openended boxes with the top box draped over the bottom box.
Im not sure if its normal or if its a bad freezer but it took 14 hrs to drop the temp from 30 to 20 running constantly aside from this i love everything about this freezer its built tuff
My husband has this in his semi. I prepare 3-4 weeks worth of meals for him to take on the road. We have had it about 6 months and had no issues at all. Keeps his food frozen until he's ready to cook/reheat in his hotlogic. Truly a money saver when compared to the cost of eating in truck stops.
Traveled across the US in a small RV and this Wynter 65 quart fridge fit the bill nicely. Good height as a seat too when parked and durable enough to move from inside to outside when the weather is nice for an outdoor unit in the shade.
Its only been 2 days having this fridge/freezer... my wife and I love it. Totally worth it. We have it set up in our campervan on 12v thats 100ah but bought 2 brand new batteries thatll have 200ah so should be good for the set up we have.
This is a great fridge uses very little power andkeeps a constant temp
Unit ran fine on AC but had issues with the DC power.
