I'm not using this refrigerator for beverages, I'm using it for aging hard cheese. I love it. It takes a bit of adjusting for the correct temp, but with that and a bowl of water on the bottom shelf, my cheeses are doing great! With the light on it makes a great display.
This fridge is very nice looking but it doesn't keep our drinks very cold. It's about 50 degrees in our garage right now, and a can of coke from the garage is about the same temperature as one from this fridge, possibly even colder.
Very good capacity, runs silently, keeps contents nice and cold - does everything I hoped at a quite reasonable price. Interior light is nice but doesn't do much if the fridge is full.
The small size makes it easy to use in our kitchen. It's best to hold coke sized cans. Adding in other items like beer bottles or wine bottles don't make use of the shelf space well.
doesn't maintain a cool enough temperature (34 to38 degrees) unless it is turned all the way down with the thermostat then it runs all the time and freezes
Would not cool drinks.
It quit running and started leaking out all of the refrigerant with not even two years of use.
We purchased this and it has NEVER kept anything remotely cool. A refrigerator that doesn't refrigerate is just a display case. Great looking case, but none of our beers or sodas ever got cold. No matter what length of time, pulling out from the wall, etc. It's just simply not a good product.
I always make it a point that I won't ran out of sodas in this Whynter Beverage Refrigerator, because I love sodas. I find this refrigerator more convenient to use than a typical refrigerator, because it has its own store for beverages, which I think is very organize.
This fridge barely works. I have tried all of the various temperature settings and it simply does not get cold. I am going to try to contact Whynter and see if they can help at all with the warranty. We shall see...
