Grease Screens Fall from
Grease Filter Screens Keep Falling Down!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy so far. The hood is very noise and seems to rattle a log. Because of the rattling, the grease screens vibrate and fall out onto the food below on the stove. I called twice to complain about the screens falling down. The first time they sent only one screen that was too small (meant for a smaller hood). I called and complained and they sent a replacement screen...only one screen...when I specifically said I need both new screens. I now need to call again for a second screen. I can't tell yet if that's going to fix the issue. It seems as if it's a poor design where the screen tabs [that hold the screen in place] are too small.

Flimsy Panels and Grease Issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grease leaks down, and I’ve even seen it drip condense back into my pots while cooking. This is honestly disgusting and gross. On top of that, I have to wipe the entire inside clean after nearly every meal just to keep it usable. The removable panels are flimsy and don’t click back in easily, requiring patience every time I clean them. For the price, I expected something sturdier and far more user-friendly.

You have to turn the low speed button and high speed buttons on at the same time, to get high speed. Same thing with medium speed, both the low speed and medium speed buttons need to be pressed. For low speed, just the low button only. This should be redesigned for an easier and better user experience.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool range hood came with my new home. Although it may be a bit loud, the hood is truly amazing. It effectively sucks up the steam and smoke while cooking. I tend to use seasonings that can be quite odorous, but this hood does an excellent job of eliminating any unpleasant smells. I highly recommend this product if you need a range hood for your cooking needs.

Awful Instructions
Who in their right mind wrote the dimensions and instructions on this? Using on my new home. Roughed in HVAC and electrical based on the dimensions giving in the install instructions. I should have double checked but still some errors in the instructions need corrected. Shows 15" for mechanical width but the chimney is 8 3/16" wide. The template that comes with it also doesn't work on a 36" unit and I'm missing screws.

It’s a Range Hood!

It looks nice enough although given the choice among different styles I am not sure whether I would choose this particular one. We like Whirlpool products in general. I hope this range hood lives up to the standards of their other products.

Simple and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Whirlpool hood/vent has been the best one I have owned. Previous hoods are ineffective at venting properly and the lighting is usually subpar. This hood has a very good fan motor, easy removal and cleaning of filters, and the LED lighting is fantastic in lighting the cooling surface.
