Dissatisfied with Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within 3 weeks of ownership and getting it a chance to perform, it did not. The washer is too loud, I can hear it upstairs, my clothes come out dirtier than going in, my clothes have lint throughout when taken them out. My auto detergent does not dispense. I use Tide detergent for He and it does not make one sud. My last Whirlpool set I had for over 20 years, I loved my duet but the washer tub finally gave up. Very unhappy with this current washer. Would not recommend. If Whirlpool would like to contact me with the below email I would be happy to discuss it with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one in 4years. I initially bought for the blue tooth reminders and large capacity. I believe utilizing the capacity and running large loads is what fatally broke the first washer. At this price point it really isn’t worth it. I’m very disappointed and probably shouldn’t have bought a second one but definitely won’t buy a third if this one breaks. I went out and bought what I thought was the best of the best brands and “go figure”. I should have kept my old 20 year old Roper, at least you could work on them and not have a big finance bill. The only reason I got rid of it is you can’t find the parts anymore.

Deep Water options don't appear to work properly
Deep Water options don't appear to work properly. I have selected Auto, Medium and High and I get the same amounts of water from each using different load sizes. I am going to call support to see if it is a system error. Also, the Quick Reference Guide is not User Friendly- it doesn't mention anything about Sanitize with OXI feature, and requires a great deal of intuitive guessing at how to use this machine. The Deep Water issue is a pain, because you have to continually check to see if the water is at an adequate height or you have to manually add water. This is very time consuming. I'll give it a better review if it can be repaired.

Horrible

We were thrilled at the idea of a removable agitator but after multiple loads using multiple settings, this washer does not get clothing clean. It requires deep fill water to even get the detergent out of the clothing. After about 25 loads the machine started making an horrible noise which turned out to be the main gear of the unit. After waiting 3 weeks to get a replacement part, with the next load the agitator stopped working completely and the washer is out of service again. Stay away from this product, extremely disappointed in Whirlpool.

This machine will take some getting use to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The manual for the machine is 2nd rate. It is downloaded from their website.
Each function should be explained in detail, they are not.
Lazy is what seems to be the problem with whirlpool, relative to manuals.
It does conserve water.
The removable agitator is a good idea, used it already.
In the standard washing mode, put soap stains on jeans. ( not enough water?? )
Washed again using more water, soap stains came out.
I am hopeful that in 3 or 4 years when we fully understand this machine we will have a more fulfilling and rewarding experience.

Newer is not always better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer after moving into a new home. I have been using it for nearly 2 months. I wish I still had my old washer (had been using for 12 years). This new washer does not always get clothes clean. It is supposed to be efficient but I have seen it empty and refill itself for 40 minutes while trying to "rebalance." I would say the larger basin is nice but per the manual you should not use the full volume. It makes a lot of clicking and grinding noises which make me doubt the longevity of its use. I would not recommend this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last Aug along with the matching dryer to replace the Whirlpool set I had for over 12 years. I am not at all impressed with the performance of the new model. There is some issue with the power button. Most of the time when I press it to turn the washer on, it does not work. I'll have to hit the button to add water to the tub for the soak feature to wake the washer and then select my wash settings. This washer does not spin the clothes even close to the dryness level of the previous one I had. In my opinion this adds to the issues I'm seeing with the dryer not getting the clothes dry during a normal cycle.

A Problem Machine
I have owned this washer for 2 years, I bought the extended warranty. I am so disappointed in the appliance. (I had a Samsung front load before). The clothes are very wet at the end of the wash cycle on nearly every wash type. The water is not sufficient to even cover the clothes, so I add water from the laundry sink. The washer does not heat the water, so if you do not have an on demand water heater, you cannot get warm water into the machine. The board has already been replaced, and when agitating, the washer has now developed a ticking sound. There are only two of us, and we are senior adults, so this product is not abused, misused or overworked.
